Chapter 10 Casey, Me and Aaron
"They are already done with the match" I said, my face long.
"Did you really expect it would still be on?" Ms. Kiera said. I sighed taking my bag-pack from her.
"Fine, you may leave." I said walking away.
"Take care, sweetheart. Don't forget about the practice today. I won't let you a leave"
"Yeah, I know" I said waving my hands as my eyes were searching for someone in particular.
I made my way through the corridor towards the boys locker room. Everyone seemed to be leaving. I traced the walls as I glanced inside the room but it was already empty. Why did my heart feel heavy suddenly? I know I couldn't make it to his match but I wasn't really guilty. Call me cold but I never expected I would actually feel lost when I couldn't find him.
"What are you doing here?" Someone asked me as I flinched. I gained the right posture before turning to answer the source.
"None of your business." I said. He was some tall guy wearing a jersey numbered 15. He was a brunet and if it were someone other than me she would already be drooling over him.
"Whoa, whoa, hold on lady" He said extending his hand to the right and stopping me from escaping, "Aren't you the new chick? I only heard about you but never thought I would meet you personally"
"I've got better things to do, that's why."
He smirked at my reply. Maybe now he'll just leave me alone thinking I wasn't going to fall for his charm anytime soon. He didn't move an inch and stared me through. I felt completely exposed with the way he stared down at me with that dirty smirk. There wasn't a doubt that he was rapping me in his mind.
"You're hot. We just won a match and I've got a celebration party tonight. You're invited, sweetheart."
"I'd rather rot in gutter."
His smile disappeared. I wasn't really in the mood of partying too plus I have got my training to do. I wouldn't even need any reasons not to attend his party. I just feel disgusted around him naturally. I was about to turn around go away when he placed his hand on my shoulder firmly. I spotted Aaron coming our way, a shock look on his face.
"Slow down, man. She isn't your type." He said.
I don't need any man to save me from other men. I'll show them who the sheep among us is. I grabbed his hand and twisted it with all my might. He grimaced in pain as he tried his best to get it out of my grip. He shouldn't dare underestimate me. I gave a hard hit where the sun doesn't shine as he then fell down crying in pain.
"Scream all you want, kid" I hissed, a smug look on my face. "But it takes more than that to invite me over to your party" I frowned at him as he now lay down in pain. I didn't feel one bit guilty about what I did. But he should know better than to mess with me. Then realization struck me.
I almost forgot Aaron was here too. I slowly looked up at him to realize he was staring in utter shock at the guy. He then turned to look at me, his silky blonde hair flipping backwards. He grinned at me and walked towards me.
"That was so cool." He smirked and turned back to look at the guy again, "Now you know not to mess with my girl"
He took my hand and walked me with him outside the building.
"Hey, wait!" I struggled in his hold though I liked it this way.
I remember noticing his hair flip; noticing the way he grinned at me, noticing how lost I felt when I couldn't find him. These were a few danger signs and every cell in my body was screaming not to let my guards down. I know what I am putting myself into but I very well know I can take care of this. Or can I?
