"Why are you here, though?" I groaned as I woke up at 7:20AM on the first day of school at Karr. The girls and I flew out to New Orleans about two weeks ago. Our uniforms were bought by Wendy before we got out here.

"Because it's my first day of school too and I didn't wanna be at the hotel." Prince smirked as he yawned next to me. The boys convinced Keisha, Kenneth, and Walter to let them go go school with us in New Orleans. Prince was laying on my bed since he claimed he "had" to sleep in my bed to get a good nights sleep. Nigga, get outta here with that!

"Get away." I pushed him. I got up and went to the bathroom to take a shower. Around 7:38, after eating breakfast, I started taking my braids out-- I braided my hair last night to get it kinda curly for today. My phone started ringing as I finished undoing half of my hair.

"Your phone's ringing." Prince said as he fluffed up his hair.

"No shit, Sherlock." I rolled my eyes as I answered it.

"Hello?"

"Hey Artty. You ready for school?" Yulissa Jaime asked me.

"I guess. I just hope nobody acts a damn fool when we get there. And I want a bitch to tell me something. Uh! They don't know me. I'm fucking crazy." I said as I continued to take my hair out.

"I know you are. We are gonna ruin this school this year. Just watch." Yulissa laughed.

"For real though! They ain't gonna be able to handle us!" I laughed.

"Hey Yulissa!" Prince shouted.

"Is that Princeton? OMG! They coming to Karr too?!" Yulissa squealed.

"Yeah. They finally got Keisha, Walter, and Kenneth to say yes." I laughed.

"Great. Now we really gon' tear up that school!" Yulissa shouted.

"You know what it is! I'ma see you at school, girl."

"Alright. Bye." Yulissa hung up and I finished getting ready.

I sighed as I finished taking my hair out. I shook it then flipped it back.

"What if they tell you take your bandana off?" Prince asked as I went into my closet to change.

"Pssh! Fuck them! I went through a whole year at Behrman where I couldn't wear my damn bandanas. They gonna let me wear my damn purple bandana with these ugly ass pants." I rolled my eyes and walked out of the closet. I heard Prince laugh at my attitude and uniform. "Shut up."

"Aww. You look so cute, mi amor. You'll make it work." Prince coughed out a laugh. I pointed my middle finger at him. "When?"

"In yo dreams, half nigga." I rolled my neck.

"Y'all are a trip." Juno laughed as she came into the room in her uniform.

"Hey Prince. Artemis, where's Gizmo?" Juno said as she popped down on my bed.

"In Darian's room. You know he's mad at us for leaving him for so long." I said as I got my book sag.

"Beans is mad at me too." Prince pouted.

"Because you always play with him when you get home then leave him alone. We play with Gizmo and take him on walks and everything when we come home." Juno teased him. He hit her with a pillow. They were like brother and sister.
