The Conversation Continues Ch.20

Middle September 2014

Artemis

"Girls, we need you to be working in your next album. We want it finished by January so we can a early release in February then the actual release in March." Keisha told us over Skype.

"Okay. We'll get started right on it. We'll send you what we have at the end of the month." Brittany said.

"Okay. I'll be there by October second." Keisha smiled and waved before ending the call.

"So Juno, come up with some beats and we'll come up with some lyrics." Jari said and Juno nodded before going into her room.

"I think it should be about growing up. Because that's what we're doing. We're experiencing things." Isis said and everyone nodded.

"We'll see y'all later." Brittany sighed. She, Ray, Jari, and Prod left as Roc and Prince came into my room with Gizmo behind them.

"What did Keisha want?" Roc asked as he laid down next to Isis as he playfully kicked Gizmo.

"She wants us to work on our next album and have everything finished by January, have an early, sneak peak release in February, then an actual release in March." I answered as words flowed through my head.

"You have something?" Isis asked as Juno sent us a beat. It was a soft melody with a good bass.

"This goes out to my homegirls. This goes out to my homies." I sang softly. Isis smiled at me and nodded.

[Isis:]

Baby girl, I know that you've been off track

You feel like taking one step forward, taking two back

No matter how hard you try, things always go bad

The thought of a better life, you'll never know that

You smile on the out, but inside you hurt

You say that you're fine, but you feel unsure

Try to replace the pain by saying false words You see that girl in the mirror but don't know her

[Isis/Artemis:]

But the tears can't wash away

All the fears you haven't faced

Baby girl, don't lose your faith

'Cause the storm don't last always

[Isis/Artemis:]

This goes out to my homegirls

Know it's hard to make it in this world

I know you try

And it feels like

Nothing goes right

But it'll be alright

This goes out to my homies

Tryna survive out in these streets

I know it's tough

Forced to grow up

Life is messed up

But keep ya head up"

We smiled at each other then sent Jari, Brittany, and Juno the lyrics we came up with. We all for on Skype and finished the song.
