Chapter XXII: When the enemy steps

Napatayo bigla si Sehire ng imulat ni Kria ang mga mata nya. "It was Sasha's idea though." Napatigil saglit si Kria at napalinga linga ng mapansing hindi na kasing dami ng tao ang nasa kwartong kinalalagyan nila. The council members are doing their last preparation to march into the mission to kill the Morcefs, for the judgement bestowed upon them proves that there's an enough evidence beyond reasonable doubt that they betrayed the whole world by their actions inciting to a world chaos. Sehire did not explain further how and what other circumstances Vipie told him are present, he knew Kria would never be interested. 

"So fires fuel up while I was unconscious." She seems a little disappointed, but then worried. 

Sehire doesn't know what to say, his brain was still caught up in the image of Yussen holding Kria whose life is in danger. Somehow, that scenario feels so familiar, must be something that his imagination disrupted that would happen sooner or later. "Kria..." mahinang bulong noon habang nakatingin sa kaibigan nyang hinahaplos ang buhok ni Ayisha. 

"Why don't you just let him know?" Magsasalita pa sana si Vipie para sumingit sa katahimikan ng dalawa pero napatigil din iyon sa kakaibang bagay na naman na namumutawi sa usapan. 

Kria remains silent while avoiding eye contact. 

"If you think it's to save him from suffering, then you're perfectly crushing him into it." Kria grips her palm tight and jumps up from bed. "DON'T leave Ayisha here all alone." Sehire did not had the energy and time to protest, when he looked back, the Mortal Queen already jumped off from the window. 

He wryly sigh and faces their youngest friend whose still sleeping calmly. Somehow, knowing she's fine lightens up his head. "When you fall inlove, I hope you could just be honest." He's almost begging while thinking about the complicated brains of Sora and Kria. 

Napabagal sa pagtakbo nya si Kria ng marinig sa mentalidad nya ang boses ni Sehire. Another thing happens to the communications and Sehire forgot to told her about it. Now he's talking to their sleeping comrade with every words that must be dedicated for her. 

"Kria and Sora thought keeping their secrets would be the best decision, but they're just running away don't you think? Tray and Yussen too are such cowards for their unspoken confessions." Napabuntong hininga na lang ulit si Sehire bago narinig ang malamlam na pag o-out ni Kria sa linya nya.
