Basang basa na naman si Sora habang natakbo papasok sa malaking entrada ng Ameleth University kung saan kinukuha nya ang kursong Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology. There are still 30 minutes left before her first class starts, enough time to dry herself.

Yesterday, she remembers planning to buy an umbrella, but the summer heat were still in the atmosphere so she dropped the idea. But just this morning when she woke up, the heavens decided to pour all its water vapor down.

She doesn't actually trust weather forecast, and that's her price.

"Great." Buntong hininga nya habang pinapunasan ang sarili. Napamura pa iyon ng mahina ng mapansing nalaglag sa kung saan ang name plate nya. Nilingon nya ang tinakbong pathway sa field ng school, and dropped the idea of looking for it in the middle of that storm.

Sora Xinoe's day started like that. It's like the rain wipes out the energy in her. She felt really light yet every inch of her body hurts like their being torn apart. Classes started, she tries to listen with her wet socks and it's really a hundred percent more uncomfortable. But she has to listen, or pretend to listen, to do good in college since it's her first script in her future life.

Some of known faces and her classmates greeted her whenever she run around them in hallways, canteens and other facilities, and she did succeed in giving them a petite smile.

She herself is confuse in the ways she acts. She remembers being a little cheerful than her current mood. It's like all the emotions that drowns her back when her parents died come back crashing her down again. Crashing the idea of having friends in her baby steps in College. Great.

Her parents and two sibling died in a car crash. It might be due to trauma, but she does not really remembers when or where, or if she was with them that faithful time. The memories of their wake was even blurred in her mentality, like it's some sort of witchcraft dream she decided to bury.

Her family were actually in the high status in the society, and her parents had already saved enough for her to finish college. So money was not a problem. She remembers feeling empty going back in their family house, trying to fill up that space in every walls. Until the day she can't even go home anymore. So she decided to put the house on sale and live with her Godmother. She was a sweet lady who looks younger than her actual age and is treating her like her own child.

But something is still a little different, and more like confusing than actually lonely and sad. "Am I forgetting something?" She whispers in herself as she walks on the pavement on the way home. The whole days passes by, it's nighttime, and she still feels her whole system is hanging.

Somethings just not right.

The street lights she once knew, feels so strange and unfamiliar.

Her own body feels heavier than usual.

Even her accent change a little bit.

Worse, she feel a little older than herself yesterday.

"Damn what's happening." Sora silently groans in frustration as she raise her heads up the cloudy sky. It's not raining, thank God, but the whole heavens where forbidding her to see the stars. For a moment, a very slight second, figures of something really chaotic flashes in her eyes. Something really big and terrifying.

"Ah. You're home."
