I had found money in the pocket of my vest obviously put there by Simon, which I used to take a cab to Queens where I found JFK Airport. Planes ripped through the sky as ditched my weapons in a bush outside the airport wiping them clean of prints before leaving them. Going through security was easy without the weapons to make me suspicious. Inside the airport made me feel like I was in a completely different world. People moved about like pesky ants with luggage weighing them down, as some people watched the sign switch flights to red to green and back to red. I had truly never seen something as weird, but interesting at the same time.

Following a stream of people, I found passenger's clustered around payphones as some screamed and cursed into the phones. I bounced on the balls of my feet as I watched the airport passenger's hurry by. Seeing as children clung to their parents with sleepy eyes, I was fascinated to see a child a few feet away who only looked at the ceiling as if it was the most wonderful thing in the world. He had bright blond eyes and wore all gray clothing, but his eyes were invisible to my sight as he only watched the ceiling.

Cecily.....Cecily listen to me. You need to run and get back to those weapons or you will....

"Miss?"

I looked away from the boy to see a man in a suit and tie hand his pay phone to me as he walked quickly away. Glancing over to see if the boy was still over there staring at the ceiling, which he wasn't, I inserted the change and dialed the number as it began to ring.

"Allan's Pizzeria, what will we be making you today?"

"Allan....it's Cecily, please tell me Madame Pricker got me a ticket."

"Umm..." There was a clatter on his side of the phone as he yelled, "NO! I want to talk to her!!!"

"Cecily?" It was Carter now and I could hear Allan yelling at him in the distance, "Cecily, she didn't buy you a ticket."

"What? Why not?"

"Cecily, she is coming to get you."

I swallowed hard, "She's......She's coming here?"

"Yes, and Cecily I'd be prepared she's pretty pissed. She was so pissed when she left, Cecily.......I think you've gone too far this time."

I sighed as i leaned against the wall, "I just don't understand anything, Carter, why can't I just come back and...."

"You can't, Cecily, I wish I could tell you why but I know you wouldn't believe me. Just go back to the Institute, you'll be safe there."

"Carter, I told you....I'm not going back there. They held me like a prisoner and not everyone there is friendly. "

"Do you mean that Zane? Cecily, if he's harassing you, I swear I'll....."

"No, no it's not him.....well he is a jerk but he's nothing I haven't dealt with. It's just.....you know it's nothing." I couldn't tell him about my father. I shouldn't tell anyone. "I'm just going to wait here for Madame Pricker."

"Cecily...."

"Bye, Carter."

I handed the phone to a old women as I shuffled away from the crowds to a chair facing the planes. Bringing my knees up to my chest I leaned my head back to rest against the windows and closed my eyes. All that filled the dark space was the horrid images of a bloody battle.

Feeling as though something was terribly wrong, I opened my eyes and looked out across the crowd to see the same little boy. Too bad this time he was looking at me with a devilish smile as his eyes were as white as marbles with no color what so ever. You can't trust anyone, not even people you know. Demons they are dangerous, Cecily. And they can sense what you are and me talking to you. Now do what I tell you......Run Cecily! Run like your life depends on it because it does right now.
