It was silent once Kyoya left, leaving me to have some time to think to myself.

The boredom overwhelmed me.

Maybe help Mori with dinner?

Yeah. That sounds entertaining.

I stood from my bed, slightly wincing because of the small bruises here and there due to the fall. I tried walking to my suitcase, as normal as an injured person can get. Once I re-opened my slammed suitcase once more, I grimace. I've gotten so used to wearing boys clothes, after all, I haven't worn a dress in like, 8 years.

But once the silky material weaved through my fingers, I had the sudden urge to try it on. I slip out of my oversized t-shirt, leaving on the short, black shorts. The nightgown-dress slipped on easily, the coolness of it tingled my skin.

It was a light purple, small ruffles decorated the straps of the dress like flowers. Slight frills rimming the bottom edge of the dress/nightgown. It felt nice to wear something like this.

I pull out my plain, black, fuzzy slippers from my suitcase, appreciating the warmth it gave. I walk over to the mirror in the opposite corner to look myself over. My gut and mind both agreed that I looked presentable, giving me the decision to finally exit my room.

I scurry down the long hallway of Ootori's manor, turning three corners before seeing Mori hunched over the sink with a basket full of crabs, Honey on the granite island in the middle of the room.

Noticing the extra set of feet, he looks up, staring at me.

Mori POV:

...beautiful.

Author POV:

Honey watched the small greeting between Mori and Maru, a tinge of hurt in his stomach. He eyed Maru up and down slightly, feeling his cheeks redden. Maru's amber-red eyes completely matched with the light purple dress, her hair silky and smooth, while slight curls framed her face.

She was truly a angelic type.

"Good evening Honey."

Honey jolted in surprise at Maru's sudden greeting. Honey was able to make his blush hidden, luckily.

"Hi Maru-chan! H-how are you doing?"

Mori immediately noticed Honey's stutter, making him stare in alert. The said boy received his friend's stare, their challenging gazes watching each other.

'We will speak about this later.'

Maru never noticed. She was too busy mixing crab into the clam chowder, humming tunes that could lull one to sleep in seconds.

And that's exactly what happened, for Honey anyway. The Haninozuka quickly dozed off on the counter top, using Usa-chan as a pillow.

Mori's eyes managed to stay open though, just long enough to finish his task of steaming king crab legs. He leans back onto the counter, with closed eyes, listening to the soft humming coming from Maru's lips.

After a few minutes, Mori opened his eyes slightly, watching Matu move here and there, changing the melody once in a while.

A sense of yearning washed over Mori, making him walk towards Maru with confidence.

"Hm? Mori?"

Mori doesn't answer to Maru, but only stared. His next actions made that fluttery feeling return, confusion lacing every edge of the young teen's mind.

Mori tilted her head up, placing a soft kiss on her forehead.

For some reason, it felt nice.

But another part of her...
