Chapter 12:
Alex's POV
Since Sky wasn't with us yesterday, for some unknown reasons, Sam and I decided to get to know her more. She isn't that of an awful person, based in experience. She's really cool and awesome to be around with. She's just like Sam in a lot of ways. Sam and I now consider her a friend. Too bad, she wasn't able to meet Sam's parents but I think she already have seen them since they are neighbors. She also haven't meet Before You Exit personally, I just hope she knows them before camp started.
Maybe we should introduce her to Before You Exit, since she'll be with us throughout the camp.
"Hey Sam, why don't we introduce Sky to Toby, Connor and Riley? And at the same time hangout with them all our friends." I told Sam who was busy throwing stones to the lake. She was somehow throwing the stone to the lake and maybe making it skip multiple times on water. But as far as I can see she isn't successful with it.
"What did you say, Lex?" Sam stopped what she was doing and sat down a nearby bench feeling frustrated.
"I-said-we-should-introduce-Sky-to-Before-You-Exit-and-hang-out-with-them-at-the-same-time." I said nonstop.
"Could you slow it down?" she demanded. That's what you get for not listening.
"I said we should introduce Sky to Before You Exit and hang out with them at the same time." Now, I said it in a very slow pace.
"That was really slow." She said laughing. "And you sounded like a broken robot."
"You wanted me to slow down. So I did."
"But not that slow."
"I know." I said then stuck my tongue out at her.
"Well, that's a brilliant idea." She said then she stuck her tongue back at me. "Where is she anyways?"
"Maybe at her cabin." I answered.
"Do you know where her cabin is?"
"No."
"What? I thought you had talk to her yesterday before she disappeared when my parents showed up to meet you."
"Yeah. But it never came to me to ask where her cabin is."
"Nice work, Lex." She said to me, smacking my shoulder.
"Ouch! That hurts, you know." I said touching the part she smacks.
"Sorry." She said, pulling me into her huge hug.
"HAYEH!!!" someone yelled from behind. The sudden noise made Sam and I pull away from our hug. We both turn to see Sky with her genuine smile.
"Hey Sky." We said in unison.
"Let me guess, this is both your hang out place in camp."
"Yes it is." Sam said. "Got a problem with that?"
"Nope!" Sky nervously said while stepping a step back.
"Just kidding, Sky." Sam immediately said as she noticed her step back.
"Sky, do you like the idea of meeting out other friends? Or should I say our only friends in camp." I asked Sky.
"That would be really terrific." She said. "When would I be meeting them?"
"Now, we'll just have to walk to their cabin and everything will just follow." Sam said grinning.
"Sounds great. Let's go!" she exclaimed. Sam and I stood up from the bench and started walking to the McDonough's cabin plus Mr. Payne of course. "I can't wait to meet your friends. What are their names?"
