Chapter 30:
Sky's POV
Well, I though Sam and Connor would finally be apart. They're such a perfect couple to waste. Not to mention, really cute. Toby and Alex don't get me started with it. They might be too young for love but for sure they are a really perfect couple. A couple that I would envy forever. If by any chance those two couples end up together in the future, Sam and Alex would be sisters-in-law at the same time best friends. While I, on the other hand, would be forever alone.
"Hey Sky!" someone called out my name.
"Yeah?" I said as I turned to where the voice came from. And look who do we have here, Sam. "Hey Sam."
"So, how are you doing now?" she asked.
"I'm fine. And I'm suppose to ask you that." I uttered.
"What do you mean?" she asked confused.
"How are you coping with everything?"
"Good."
"Still madly in love with Connor?"
"Really?!" she said blushing. Just like what I though. I laughed. "What so funny?"
"You!" I said in between laughs.
"Me?! What about me?"
"You're madly in love with Connor and it's so cute." I cooed.
"Oh my." She said. "Anyways, I just talked to my dad and he informed me that your mom and dad are behind bars now." Wow! She is quick to change the topic.
"That's good news." I commented.
"You're not worried or mad or anything?"
"Why would I be?" I asked as she shrugged. "I've suffered enough. They deserve to be placed there."
"Okay." She said. "And I also told my dad, that you'd be with me after camp. He told me though that we can't stay in our house in Ireland because he is planning to sell it." she said.
"Are you okay with it? I mean...are you fine with selling the house?"
"Honestly, I'm not fine with it. all my memories with mm is within that house. That house means so much to me and I don't want to see it go but I guess, it's for the better."
"Don't worry, Sam. All those memories may seem to be in that house but remember this; those memories are written on your heart. It has been written there and it always will be there." I told her as I pat her back. "So where are we staying then?" I asked to lighten the mood, one way or another.
Before she responds to my question, she smiled at me and hugged me. As she pull away she said, "Dad had got us a new flat in London. We're going to live there." She exclaimed. Sometimes this girl is weird, one moment she's about to cry, the next she'd be so excited. But I ain't complaining, I love her any ways.
"That's amazing. But would it be too much?" I said.
"No worries. Dad's fine with it, besides he has tons of money and Aunt Angelica just uses it all up for non sense. So maybe getting me my own flat would not be non-sense." She said.
"Fair enough." I said. "That's for everything, Sam." I added as I hugged her really tight.
"My pleasure." She stated as we hug.
After our talk, we both head to the mess hall for our breakfast. Since Sam showed up so early, I wasn't able to grab breakfast early. But when we both got there, we saw that our friends just all got there, which was not cool, at all. It only means one thing, we don't have a table. But just our luck, when Sam and I approach the others, a group of people seated at the far corner of the mess hall got up and walked away. And immediately, Connor and Riley raced to the table. Sam, Alex and I just laughed at how childish those two boys sometimes... more likely most of the time.
