Chapter 16:

Riley's POV

Well, the prank Toby, Thomas, Sky, Sam and Alex did to us yesterday was quite impressing. Though, it was quite annoying as well. I almost fell for it. I thought it was true that a bear break-in in the cabin.

"Hey Riley, I haven't heard about what happened to the revealing thing." Braiden stated.

Thomas, Toby and Connor were out to have fun by the lake with Sam, Sky and Alex.

"It went well." I lied.

"Really?!" Braiden said. "Does she like you?"

"Well, she doesn't." I plainly said. "She doesn't like me."

"How come you said it went well?"

"It went well because at least we are still friends after all of it."

"Wouldn't it be weird for her, since you like her and she just rejected you?"

"Yeah. But I can handle it and I think she can handle it as well. She doesn't want our friendship to be over."

"Great."

"And besides, she'll never like me the way she likes someone else." I said.

"There are more fish in the sea." Braiden joked. But his right, there are more girls out there, maybe better than Sam.

"Yeah, you're right. And I got my eyes on someone else in camp." I happily said. Not really sure if it sounded right.

"That fast?"

"Maybe, not sure though."

"Ok." He said unconvinced.

"Trust me on this, Braiden." I assume him. "I don't really like her that much yet. I just find her really cute and beautiful."

"I trust you, Riley." He said. "And who is she?"

"It's Sky. She's really different."

"Even different than Sam?"

"Yeah, but there is only one thing I'm scared of. If I would like her that much, I'm scared that she might just friend zone me like what Sam did."

"Don't lose hope. Maybe she'll like you, if you'd even like her than much."

"Yah."

"Hey, Toby and Connor needs to talk to you, both." Alex burst out the doors.

"Ok, we'll be there." Braiden said.

"Ok." She said then left.

Well, to be honest, I'm not quite over Sam yet. I still really like her and still want her to be mine after friend zoning me. I still can't help but like her. And here comes Sky. She's really a great person to be with. There is something about her that I really like and somehow I can't find it in Sam. I just can't pin point what it is.

Ugh!

Okay, I'll try not to even fall for Sam more. Try and forget about what I felt towards Sam. She can only be my friend and nothing more. Try to move on and not thing about anything about love, not even my feelings towards Sky.

Sky's POV

At the moment, I'm with my friends by the lake. This is now our hangout place. Sam and Alex was the reason it became out hangout spot. They both like being here. This is where we enjoy our days without challenges or activities. And not much people come around here.

I'm quite happy that I met this incredible people. I never thought of having great friends like them when I got to this camp. To be honest, Sam and I are alike in so many ways but we also differ from one another. We both have professional parents that sometimes wish they weren't professional and really known. We get so much attention from all the people around that we totally hate. They're being famous is also affecting us. We also both hate the fact that we are treated as popular and a bitch at school. We don't go to the same school today. We used to but she regularly transfer to other schools because she get bullied from time to time.

And I wonder why we never been friends. We've been neighbors since like forever and we never even get to be friends. Maybe it's because, Sam is really quite and sometimes keeps things to herself. And she prefers to do things unproductive.

I am really glad to become friends with her since we have so many things in common. I also am glad that I didn't only became friends with her but also with Alex, Connor, Toby, Riley, Braiden and Thomas.

Speaking of those boys, Sam was right when she said they were really cute. Not to mention they are really talented. And guess what, I fancy one of these boys, one of the brothers to be exact. The first time I heard his name, I find it really cute, then when I finally saw those boys, his name wasn't only cute so was his face. Not only was his face that got attracted me to him but also his personality and his beautiful voice. The only thing that hurts was when I found out that he likes Sam.

Well, who wouldn't like Sam? She's everything a guy likes. Pretty face, awesome personality, great body, good attitude and easy going. I wouldn't be shock that all the boys likes Sam even the youngest of them. Sam is so perfect. If I was a dude, I might actually like Sam.

Well, what can we do? I just hope Sam doesn't like Riley, as much as I like him, but if she does, I'll just back off. And I'm not letting this feelings of mine ruin my friendship with Sam. She's too awesome to let go.
