Chapter 31:

Sam's POV

After being food poisoned, I was careful enough in eating my food. We never know what's in those foods. Though, I still wonder who could have done such a thing to us. But I let that thought drop for now, we still have a music video to finish. We have 3 days left from the 4 days time Ms. Angie has given.

Like what Sky suggested, we started from the very beginning. It started when I bumped into Riley on the first day of camp. Then everything followed. When it was getting dark, we ended the filming when One Direction dedicated a song to me while Before You Exit dedicated a song to both Alex and I. but we didn't quite include the 1D boys.

It's already 7pm and both Riley and Connor were busy ending the video at the living room of their cabin. I accompanied them together with Braiden, Brad, and James but the three went out to the lake. I guess getting to know one another. Meanwhile, Alex, Toby, and Thomas went over to Sky in the clinic to check up on her condition. I just hope she's fine now. Since tomorrow we'd start filming the start of camp challenges where we need her appearance.

Earlier, during lunch break, Ms. Angie came to our table to talk to us. She told us that they have found out who placed the poisoning on the food we ate the other day. She said it was Cassandra McCornikk. The evil twin sister of Alex. As a punishment for what she did, her team was disqualified for the music video challenge and points were deducted from their team. Well, that's what she get for trying to kill us.

"So, how's the editing guys?" I interrupted Riley and Connor. I sat in between them just to miss around with them, since it was vacant. Connor immediately wrapped his arms around me which I straggled to get out.

"It's good." Riley uttered sounding worried and sad. It's an evident that he is not doing well. I slap Connor's arm and he immediately let go.

Note to self: if ever Connor wraps his arms around me and I want to get out, I should just slap his arm. That would do the trick.

I put a hand on Riley's shoulder and spoke, "What's up, Ri?"

"Nothing." He plainly replied. This means his lying, if I got that right.

"Oh" I said unconvinced.

"It's about Sky." Connor uttered from behind since I was turning my back from him to focus on Riley.

"Ri, you should go to Sky now." I said patting his shoulder. "I know you like her so much. We all do. Just go there and tell her that."

"What?" he's head shoot up to face me. I gave him a smile.

"Yeah,go ahead. I'll help Connor with this if I can." I said with a little giggle.

"Yeah bro, go tell her." Connor agreed.

"Fine."

"And tell the others to come here and leave the two of you." Connor said as Riley got up.

"I will." He said before walking away.

Once Riley was gone, I look at the laptop in front of me and wondered how I could help Connor with this. I have no idea about editing videos. I'm not a techno person.

"I hope he does chicken out this time." Connor suddenly said while fiddling with the other laptop in front of him.

"What do you mean?" I wonder.

"Well, I'm his brother and it happen a couple of times already. When he finally got the opportunity to tell a girl he likes her, he chicken out. But as what I have heard from Braiden that there was a time that he didn't chicken out." He said while I didn't react, I just look at him, smiling. I don't know why I was smiling but I was. "He said it happened in camp. He didn't chicken out this time."
