Chapter 25:

Sam's POV

I'm finally thanking to my dad. I was felt alone with him inside my cabin as my friends are back in the boy's cabin. They came along with me to welcome my dad and greet him and after they returned to the cabin.

"So Dad, who could be mom's killer?" I asked dad as I sat on my bed while he sat on the chair by my bed.

"Sam, we believe it's someone that got really jealous of your mom or someone that has been mad at your mother for some time now. The officers said that they are someone like your mom."

"Wait Dad. THEY?"

"Yeah. They. They are a couple, Sam. The girl is a know doctor while her husband is a talent manager. They were jealous of your mother."

"Who are they, Dad?" eager to know who those people with no heart that killed my mother.

"Mr and Mrs. Winterstein." He stated.

"Winterstein?" I repeated.

"Yes, Sam." He confirmed.

"Dad, do you know anything else about them?"

"Umm... they have a daughter named Skylar Winterstein."

Sky's parents? Her parents killed my mom!? That's impossible! NO! NO! NO!

"NO! That can't be!" I shouted. I stood up and paced back and forth around the cabin. This isn't true.

"Sam, what is it? Is there something wrong?" Dad asked as he held me to stop pacing back and forth.

"That's Sky's parents." I uttered.

"Who is Sky, Sam?" Dad asked me confused.

"My friend, Dad, in fact she's my best friend. She's my neighbour in Ireland. Our neighbour for 17 years. Are you sure it's really them?"

"Yes, it is them." Dad confirmed.

"Oh My Gosh!" I exclaimed as a single tear roll down my cheeks.

Sky's mom and dad killed my mom. That's really unbelievable. Why on earth did they kill my mom? They have been our neighbour for 17 years, for Pete's sake. They never showed any hatred to my mom ever since. They never showed any sign that they hate my mom but for what reason? My mom has been so kind to them. I might not see my mom and that couple talk since I'd be busy reading a book in my room.

Why didn't I bother to know those people?

So, the reason they killed my mom is because they were jealous or something. Jealous of what? My mom is rich, yes, but so they are. What does my mom have that they badly want to have, as well? What is it? Does it have something to do with her job? Mr. Winterstein is a talent manager as well, maybe that's it. I guess, he was jealous of mom. I know my mom is a really good manager and she could make someone so big. Maybe he can't do such. That's it! He was jealous of mom because my mom was that awesome. No offense but maybe he isn't.

But if you try to take a closer look at it, would killing someone solve his jealousy. One way or another, I think it would. They eliminated my mom, they're biggest competition in managing, could make him the biggest manager. They could have done better in that field so they could actually beat my mom.

UGH!

Dad has done everything to calm me down every time I burst. I was now a bit calm, I think. And dad was now leaving. Another tear roll down, as dad explains why he has to go back to Ireland so early. He has to be back in Ireland before mom's burial, which takes place tomorrow. Dad gave me a hug as more tears fell. I hugged him back as I sobbed.
