I decide to learn more about the Victorian Age.

So I grab a history book from my bookcase and start reading it.

As I'm scribbling down notes from the book, I hear a knock.

"Come in." I say. The door opens and Dad walks in.

"Can I help you?" I ask bluntly.

"Yes. I want to know the real reason why you got kicked out." He says, softly.

"I told you." I say.

"One reason. I want the main reason." Dad tells me.

"Didn't Mom explain it in her note?" I ask, setting my pen down.

"About the soul thing. Yes." Dad says.

"So you don't know what really went down." I whisper. Dad shakes his head. I sigh and I explain everything. At the end of my story, I see drops of salty liquid hit the desk.

"Dad." I say shakily. "Do you both really think that I'm pathetic? That I'm worthless?"

I hesitate before I continue.

"That I'm a mistake?" I cry.

Dad pulls me into a hug while I sob.

"I never knew your mother treated you as such. I'm so sorry for not being there for you. I'm sorry for saying those terrible things. You're not worthless and you're not pathetic. You are most definitely not a mistake. I was upset for no reason. I'm sorry." Dad says. I feel drops of liquid land in my hair. I look up and see my dad crying as well. We hug each other tighter and cry.

I open my eyes from my unexpected nap and sit up. I look around and see my Dad in a chair asleep as well. I footsteps stomping to my room. I quickly pretend to sleep when the door opens.

"Sebastian! I've been looking for you everywhere!" Ciel cuts his sentence off short when he sees my dad's and my position. I hear my dad stir in his sleep.

"Huh? Oh. My apologies, my lord. I must have fallen asleep." Dad says.

"Why?" Ciel asks.

"It's hard to explain." He says.

"Then explain it to me in my study. Come along."

"Yes, my lord." I hear footsteps leave and I hear footsteps near me. I feel a cold pair of lips on my forehead.

"I love you my beautiful daughter." I hear Dad whisper. I smile softly and I hear him chuckle before leaving. I open my eyes when I hear the door click. I jump out of my bed and sigh. Then I hear a thump. I jump slightly and open my door. I look out and see Jayce run from his room.

"Hey. What's going on?" I ask. Jayce stops and looks at me.

"Grell is here. And so is his son." He sighs.

"You don't seem happy about that." I say.

"You won't either. Once you meet them." Jayce says.

"Are they bad?" I ask.

"I think you should see for yourself." Jayce says, grabbing my hand and leading me to the main hall. There I see two guys, one with long red hair and glasses. The other has short red hair and is around my age. The older one sees my dad.

"Bassy! It's so good to see you! Give me a kiss!" The old one says.

"Did he just call my dad Bassy?" I ask.

"Yeah. That's Grell." Jayce sighs. I sigh and walk up to the two and simply punch Grell off of my Dad. Grell flies into the wall.

"How dare you!" He screeches.

"Don't touch my Dad." I say.

"Dad?!" Grell screams. "You're his daughter?"

I nod and Grell runs up to me inspecting every inch of my body.

"This is harassment." I say.

"You're like a mini version of my Bassy!" Grell screams in delight.

"You're like a major tumor to my ears." I mumble, rubbing my ears.

"She's so mean to me! Bassy your daughter is mean!" He cries. I move back to Jayce.

"You're right. I don't like him." I say. Jayce laughs. I get a weird feeling and turn. There I see the young guy. He's staring at me with a smirk.

"Is he like his father?" I ask quietly.

"No. But he is a lady's man." Jayce huffs.

"I wonder why." I say rhetorically. I walk down the stairs away from Grell's screaming. I notice the guy walking up to me.

"Hey." The guy says.

"Hi." I reply turning my attention back to my father and Grell.

"I'm Greyson Sutcliffe." He says. I look at him.

"Ana Michaelis." I say, again turning back to my father.

"Sebastian has a daughter?" He asks.

"Yeah." I say.

"How come I've never seen you here before?" Greyson asks.

"Because I just moved here." I say shortly.

"You're very pretty." Greyson says.

"Uh, thanks. I guess." I say.

"Are you single?"
I raise my eyebrows in surprise.

"Yes..." I say slowly.

"Would you be interested in me?" He asks with a smirk. He steps close to me, making step back.

"Hey, Dad?" I call. Immediately, my sight is concealed by the black material of my Dad's suit.

"Greyson, I must tell you to stay away from my daughter." He says.

"Why would I want to do that?" Greyson asks.

"Because if you don't, I'm sure my master would love to order me to kill you." Dad says.

"Yeah, right." Greyson mumbles.

"I won't hesitate to order him." Ciel says. Greyson sinks back towards his dad.

"Now that we have introductions out of the way. We must go. Celeste! Come along." Ciel calls.

Celeste comes out beside Ciel and they walk down.

"Are you ready Ana?" Ciel asks.

"She's coming?" Celeste asks.

"Yes she is. I believe it will do her good, seeing what Sebastian and I do." Ciel replies.

"You're joking." Celeste says.

"I don't joke. You should know this." Ciel says.

"I'm up for it. Just keep me away from them and I'm good." I say pointing to Grell and Greyson.

"Rude." Grell says.

"Overbearing." I snap back.

"I TAKE THAT BACK! SHE'S NOTHING LIKE MY BASSY IN THE LEAST!" Grell screeches.

"Shut up." I sigh, following everyone out the door. I hear a chuckle and look over to my dad who has a smile stuck to his features.

"You really are my daughter." He smiles. I giggle and walk beside him.

"Yes. You daughter is quite amusing, Sebastian." Ciel smirks.

I smile and notice someone scoff. Celeste is walking with her arms crossed and a scowl imprinted on her normally soft features. One thought goes through my mind when I'm around her.

She's a brat.
