This can't be happening.

I run to everyone's room to make sure they're there. Even Claude's room, but nothing.

"This is all my fault." I mumble

"Not yours. Colton's." Jake says.

"How can this be Colton's fault?" I snap.

"Because they asked him where you were and he wouldn't tell them." Greyson says. I sigh and put my head down.

"Where can they be hiding?" Jake asks.

"The Eiffel Tower. That's where they are." I say.

"How do you know?" Jake snaps.

"Because, I went scouting through Paris. Like any normal demon would." I snap back.

"And you're sure that it's their hide out?" Jake asks.

"I'm not an idiot Jake." I mumble. "Besides, I had to."

"Now, listen here you little bitch." Jake says. I glare at him.

"Just because you're a Michaelis doesn't mean you can take charge of everything!"

"In case you've forgotten, this assignment is mine, dumbass!" I scream. "And you thinking you know everything is not doing anything but pissing me off! So how about you keep your big mouth shut so we can get our fathers and friends back!"

I grab my stars and storm out of the hotel.

The whole walk to the Eiffel Tower is silent. Me, at the front, walking towards our destination, Jake and Greyson behind me, Jake still pissed about our argument, and Colton at the back, probably still hurt from earlier. Why do I mess everything up?

I shake the thought from my mind when I see the Eiffel Tower. I sigh and run up to the base and locate the door.

"Follow me." I say. We climb into the tunnel and crawl until we reach the end. I jump down onto the area and scan the place. Bodies litter the floor and blood is everywhere. I sigh and walk around the bodies when I see another opening.

"The angels did all of this?" Greyson asks.

"Yeah." I say, peeping through the opening. I hum in thought and crawl through the hole.

"Wait, Ana, you can't just walk in there!" Colton says.

"Oh well." I say. I hear scuffling and the boys following me into the dark hallway.

"Who knew the Eiffel Tower had this built into it." Jake says.

"I think it's recent. There's no rust or mold anywhere." I say. We silently walk into another area.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't Ana Michaelis."

I glare up at Ash and growl.

"Where's my father you twat?!" I scream.

"He'll be along. Pretty soon he'll witness your death." Ash says.

"That's not very nice." I say sarcastically. "Maybe your ditz of a sister will witness yours."

"Don't call my sister a ditz!" Ash exclaims.

"But you do agree with me." I say. Ash stops for a minute. Then he pulls out a sword. He jumps down and thrusts it at me. I dodge it and jump out of the way.

As we fight, I notice the boys still standing. I knock Ash to floor.

"Get out of here. Find the others." I say.

"What about you." Colton asks.

"Don't worry about me. I'm gonna kill him." I say.

"Ana you can't." He says.

"I have to. I have no choice." I say. I carefully touch his face.

"I love you." I say softly. He looks at me in shock. I turn back to Ash, who has regained his stance.

"Ana! No!" Colton yells. I ignore him and continue to fight Ash. I concentrate and close my hand around his neck. He screams in agony and thrusts his sword.

I start to crumble as I feel the sword pierce my stomach.
