I hate the woman. She killed Ana. My love.

Angela laughs as she insults us. She then brandishes a star.

One of Ana's stars.

I glare at her as she nears me with it.

"So. Colton. I hear you and Sebastiana had an oath." Angela starts.

"And?" I ask.

"How does it feel to have it broken?" She smirks. I growl and surge forward. Greyson and Jake hold me back.

"You poor thing. Lost your lover." Angela says. I glance up at my father and Sebastian. They have a look of confusion and shock. I hang my head, avoiding their gazes.

"Isn't that forbidden? Even talking to the daughter of your father's enemy." Angela asks.

"Yes." I answer. Angela is taken aback.

"Wow. You actually answered. So tell me. What oath did you two make?" She asks.

"You already know. Why ask?" I say.

"I want you to admit it." She says.

"It was the oath. Unspeakable Oath. " I mutter.

"Really? Isn't that oath supposed to kept at the expense of your life?" She smirks, knowing she's making me angry.

"Seems like she failed." She says raising the star above her head, ready to strike. I look down and wait for the impact.

It never comes.

Angela cries in pain and holds her hand as the star goes back towards the wall. We look at where it's gone. Then a girl jumps down and lands on her feet.

"No! You're supposed to be dead!" Angela says in shock.

"Well you can't always get what you want." She snaps her fingers and the star Angela had flies to her hand.

"You smudged my star. That's not really appreciated." She says.

I stare at her in shock. This can't be real.

"I'll show you what's not appreciated!" Angela says. She starts to fly towards her.

Ana catches Angela by the throat.

"Close their eyes." She barks up to the cages. I notice Sebastian and my father cover Ciel and Alois's eyes. Ashley covers Jayce's eyes. William and Grell close the two girls' eyes as Ana's eyes turn solid red. Angela screams in agony.

"Ana!" I call running up to her. Ana looks at me and smiles. I wrap my arms around her and hug her tightly.

"I thought you were dead." I mumble into her shoulder.

"I was. But it didn't last." She answers.

"How?" I ask. She hesitates before looking back up at me.

"Because I'm a hybrid."
