"Ana!"
Ash crumples away in dust. Ana collapses to the ground, Ash's sword still impaled in her stomach. I rush forward and ease her to the ground. Her hand clasps weakly around the sword, trying to get it out.
"No, Ana, no." I whisper.
"Why are you still here?" She asks.
"I couldn't leave you." I say, tears filling my eyes.
"I'm sorry." She says weakly. My hand wraps around hers that on the sword, coating my hand in her blood.
"Please don't leave me. Please." I say, my tears start falling.
"We'll see each other again. I promise. I...love.....you." She trails off and sighs, her vibrant eyes dulling to a depressing scarlet.
"Ana." I cry. I hug her body to mine and sob uncontrollably. I don't know how long I'm there. Then we hear a burst.
"Ash!" Angela cries. She notices Ana in my arms and smirks.
"At least she's gone." She says. I feel anger bubble up and I stand, ready to kill her. Angels grab my arms and pull me back with the others.
"Put them with the others." Angela orders. They then pull us away.
I watch as Ana's dead body minimize from distance.
