Where is Ana Michaelis when you need her?

"Where is everyone?!" I exclaim as we run.

"More importantly, what the hell is going on?!" Ciel asks.

"I don't know! Ana said something about a cleansing ceremony that angels are doing and that we had to save you guys from being kidnapped." Ashley says.

"That doesn't make sense!" Alois says.

"You two have a contract with demons, and this doesn't make sense?!" Jake asks.

I notice flying figures from behind me. Damn it.

"Watch it!" I yell. I swing my scythe and hit an angel in the chest. I watch it explode into glitter.

"Greyson!" Colton calls. I look up and see three angels diving at me.

I go to duck but I'm grabbed and lifted into the air. I exclaim and struggle against their grip.

I feel a gust of air as the angels get cut in half. I prepare myself for the ground. I roll land it and keep running. I notice ninja stars land back into Colton's fingertips.

Okay, I need a plan. Because there's about 20 angels behind us.

The angels start throwing sharp rods at us. And they start to explode.

Well...That was unexpected.

There's four of us so we can take out four each. Maybe half because we need to keep Ciel and Alois safe.

Jake seems to be thinking the same thing.

We jump out of of our little block and get to stance. We take out about 7 each. Colton simply takes out the other six with his stars.

I breathe heavily as I walk back with the others. Jake, in the same condition, walks beside me.

"You reapers good?" Ashley asks. I look up and almost scream.

"Yeah. Why are you covered in blood?" I ask.

"Who do you think was fighting up here?" Ashley asks.

"You took out all of those angels." Jake asks.

"Yeah." Ashley sighs as we walk up to the hotel.

"Father!" I hear two voices yell.

"Allie?!" Alois asks.

"Celeste?!" Ciel exclaims. The girls come over and hug their respectful fathers.

"Colton." Alois growls.

"It was Ana's idea! I wanted to leave them with Ashley and a trusted friend of hers but Ana wanted to bring them with us!" Colton says frantically.

Ciel sighs and face palms. Alois fumes.

"That damn demon! I'll kill her!" He screams.

"Father. No need to be angry. I'm perfectly fine." Allie says.

Alois stays silent as he contemplates his decision. I hear scraping noise. And complaining in the distance.

"Bassy! Why won't you carry me back like that?" I hear my father yell.

"Because he is injured dumbass!" I hear a feminine voice snap.

"You're injured too!" My dad yells.

"That's because she did most of the work." I hear Will say, followed by a sound of impact.

We all look over and see the four supernatural adults. Three of them are injured, Sebastian is holding his arm, Claude walking with a limp, Will holding his stomach with one arm because in the other he's holding a very miserable Ana, holding onto his neck in pain.

"I warned you not to pull that stunt." Will scolds her.

"I know, Will." Ana says through gritted teeth.

"Ana." Colton murmurs.

Of course, my father is perfectly fine. Slack off. But he has rivers of tears running down his face.

"And what happened to you?" I ask him.

"I BROKE A NAIL!" He wails. I sigh. Ana glares at my father and grabs Will's scythe and whacks my dad with it.

"A demon shouldn't touch a reaper's scythe." Jake says. Ana whacks him too. She hands the scythe back to Will. She hops down from Will's back and almost falls. Colton rushes forward and catches her and helps her up.

"Thanks." She mumbles.

"Yeah." He says.

"I say we go inside." I suggest. Everyone nods. Seeing that Ana can't walk, Colton picks her up and carries her inside.

I feel my face heat up in anger and stomp inside of the hotel.
