Abused, bullied and unloved

Twenty Five

2 days later

I spent 2 hours getting ready. I am so nervous about this. If it doesn't go right what we happen between us. I was thinking about this when the bell rang. I ran to the door and opened the door. There was Calum looking so handsome in black skinny jeans and a black button up top.

"Hey. You look really nice." I said

"Thanks. You look really beautiful." Calum said

"Thanks" I said blushing

I closed the door behind me and followed Calum to his car. He opened the door for me than he got inside the car and we started our journey to wherever we where going.

Calum pulled up on a side walk and got out of the car he came around to my side and opened the door for me. When I got out Calum was holding a blind fold.

"What do you think you're going to do with that" I asked pointing at the blind fold.

"Just trust me." Calum said

He came around me and put the blind fold over my eyes.

"Okay. Give me you hand and I'll help to guide you."

I gave Calum my hand and we walked for around 5 minutes before we stopped.

" the next couple minutes you will want to be careful because I don't want you to get hit by a branch." Calum said

"Okay." I said

Why would I get hit by a branch I thought while Calum took my hand again and started to lead me. I tried to avoid hitting anything but how was I supposed to know where a branch was when I couldn't see anything.
When we came to a stop again Calum said

" okay I'm going to take you blind fold off now."

Calum took off my blind fold and I realized where we were. We where at my tree the tree I climb all the time the tree that Calum found me in asking for me to forgive him. The tree that had mine and Vincent's  Initials in it. I turned to Calum

"Why here?" I asked

"Because this is the place where you first forgave me, and I feel that I have come a long way since then." He said.

Calum walked behind the tree and came back with a picnic basket and a blanket.

"Shall we " he asked

"We shall" I said.

I helped Calum lay down the blanket and we both sat on it. He opens the basket and pulls out pasta and coke.

" I know it's not really fancy but it was the only thing I could cook." Calum said

" you made this?" I asked

"Yeah why?" He asked

"I didn't think you could cook." I said

" well, I may just surprise you."

He then pulled out forks and plates. He then put some pasta on the plate and gave it to me.

"Thanks." I said

"Your welcome." He said

I took a bite and found out it was really good.

"Wow, this is really good."

"Thanks."

We kept eating. Then Calum and I cleaned up.

"There is something I want to do." Calum said while getting up and holding a knife in his hand.

" when I still was friends with the other boys, Vincent mentioned that you and him carved your name in this tree. However I don't think that is right." Calum said

He stopped talking and walked towards the tree trunk and bent down I got up to see what he was doing. When I got there I saw that he was writing his and mine names in the tree.

"No matter what happens I always want to mean something to you." Calum said

"You do mean something to me Calum." I said

And he does, I realized he is the only thing keeping me happy he is the only thing that I looked forward too. In that moment I bent down and kissed Calum. He kissed back and then what felt like the best seconds in my life he pulled away.

"Does this mean you do have feelings for me?"

I laughed " of course "

"I'm glad I was hoping that I wasn't going to get my feelings crushed and I'm glad that didn't happen."

We got up and headed back to the blanket. I laid down on the blanket looking up to the sky. It was dark now and you could see the stars they are really beautiful. Calum laid down next to me. We laid looking up at the stars.

"Will you be my girlfriend." Calum asked

I turned to him

"Of course " I said

And we kissed again I could definitely feel the sparks flying between us.
