Abused, bullied and unloved

Nineteen

I was in detention. Sitting alone, Calum hadn't shown up yet.

"Miss, do you know where your partner in crime is." The teacher of detention said.

Before I could answer, Calum walked in. "Sorry I'm late. I had to stay behind last class".

"That's fine, just take a seat now would you. I would not like to spend any more time here then what I have to. Detention will last for about an hour. I will be in the teacher lounge if you need me. Oh, and don't do anything stupid." And with that he left.

Calum turned towards me. "So... Did you have any plans after school?"

"Not really". I said. "You?"

"None. After I decided to stop hurting you, i haven't really talked to any of my friends. So I haven't made any plans with them in a while. I just go home, play Fifa and write music."

"Sorry to hear that. What's stopping you from talking to them. Because if its me, you can tell me."

"No it's not you, maybe it is, I don't know what is. I know that they actually are nice people. Maybe it's because I'm worried that if we all hang out together me, you and my friends, things might not work out."

It was quite for a while, nether of us had anything to talk about. We just sat there for the whole hour.

(After detention)
We walked out together, no one speaking.

"Um, so I guess I'll see you around?". I said
"Yeah."

We started to walk our separate ways, but then Calum asked,
"Do u want to like get pizza or something?"

"Like right now? I swear we just ate like two hours ago. Are you always hungry?"

"Well yeah now, I was just wondering u don't have to come."

"Um,okay"

I followed Calum to his car. We drive to the pizza place in silence. I don't really know why we're not talking, its just kinda awkward.

We got inside and sat down at a table. A waiter came up to us.

"Hello welcome to Pizza Hut what may I get you?"

"Um do you like pepperoni?" Calum asked.

I nodded my head.

" We will get one extra large pepperoni pizza."

The waiter nodded his head and walked away. And we where put back into silence.

"Um..."

"So?"

" do you actually think we are going to be able to eat all of that pizza?"

"Yeah"

More silence.

We the pizza came I was glad cause I was getting hungry.
The waiter gave us the pizza and just stood there, he didn't more.

"May I help you?", I asked

"Are you guys on some kind of date"?

I looked at Calum and he looked at me. Who does this guy think he is?

"Um , no were just friends."

"Sure you are", the waiter said and walk away.

"Well then".

"That was weird".

"Tell me about it."
