Chapter 24

*Matt's POV*

"Why the fuck are you in our house?" I spat at the boy in front of me. His face fell and he sighed.

"I guess I have to tell you my story now?" He whispered. He sat down and looked at his lap.

"Well no shit Sherlock." Shawn responded rudely. I know we sound rude but how you feel of you found out a person has been living in you who is also a supernatural being like you?

He flinched and sighed again. "Where do I begin?" He asked himself. There was a moment of silence but that was soon broken by Jacob talking again. "So when I was younger I was abandoned by my parents. From that day forward I couldn't trust anybody. I would always steal and run away from orphanages. Then one day when I was 5 or 6, I forgot when, I found out I was a fallen angel cause all these things were happening to me that I couldn't explain. I moved from city to city by myself. I did go to school but the school in the clouds. I couldn't stay with any body so I decided to find a house to live and I found your guys' house so I lived here for a few months."

I was shocked. I thought he was here for a few days but not a few months. I looked over at Shawn and he looked sad. I walked over to him. "Hey. You okay?" I was concerned for him. Sure he's younger than me but whatever.

He shook his head. "You could've told us, you know?" He sighed. "We would've let you live with us."

Jacob's eyes light up. "Really?"

Shawn looked at me and I nodded in approval. Jacob jumped up and hugged both of us. "Thank you!"

He let go and we showed him his room. We sat down on his new bed. "So what powers do you have?" I asked out of curiosity.

"Um can I show you guys?" Jacob asked. I looked at Shawn and he shrugged.

"Sure why not?" Shawn said.

Jacob stood up and stood at the door way of the room. He motioned us to get out of the room. We got out of the room confused but still watched what he was going to do.

He looked at the room and focused. Within a blink of an eye there was a room that looked completely different from a second ago. The walls were green with lyrics written on the walls. The bed had blue sheets and covers with green pillows. There was a black desk in the corner and a closet full of clothes. There were bean bag chairs everywhere, a flat screen tv and a mini fridge.

"How the fuck?" I asked.

"Its one of my powers. Having anything appear within a second. My other ones are invisibility, summoning ghosts and other spirits, and control storms." He explained.

"What colour are your wings?" I blurted.

"I can't really explain it." He said.

"Show us then." Shawn said. We want outside cause all of our wings have a wide wingspan. Once we got out to the backyard which has a forest and we had no neighbors so this will make it easier.

He spreaded out his wings. They were the colour of the green leaves at the top and when you go down you can see all the leave colours in fall. They were beautiful.

"What colour are yours'?" He asked.

I didn't hesitate to unfold my wings. They were dark blue at the top slowly fading to white when it got to the bottom. The tips were black.

Shawn's wings were gold but he had half his wings were pure black. They were unusual but beautiful. They were memorizing.

"Whoa." Was all he said when he set eyes on our wings. And at that moment I remembered that I forgot to grab a shirt before I left my room but I didn't care.
