Chapter 26

*Chris's POV*

There stood my bullies and a few new faces. My breath hitched and quickened. My heart beat quickened. They both started walking towards them, pulling me with them. "Hi, my name is Michael," pointing to himself, "this is Calum," pointing to him, "and this is Christina." He pointed to me while I was hiding behind Calum. I tapped his shoulder and he turned around. I started to use sign language.

"Can you please ask for the key? I feel uncomfortable." I kept looking around not meeting his gaze. I saw him nod his head in the corner of my eye. He walked away and then I hid behind Michael until Calum came back with the key. "Let's go to the room." Calum said pointing towards the elevators. We both nodded and followed him. "Wait, where's Ash and Luke?" I asked.

"They're upstairs already." Mikey said. "I saw them go up without us." I gave him a confused look. "How come I didn't see them?"

"Maybe it's because you were too busy hiding behind Cal and I." Mikey chuckled while my face heat up from embarrassment. "Shush up." I mumbled looking down. "Hey you know you love us." Cal said cockly pulling me in a hug. I rolled my eyes playfully and tried to get out of his grip while laughing at the same time. "Cal let goooooo." I laughed. "If you love me let me gooooooooooo." Mikey sang while yelling. "Cal seriously let me go. I want to go to the room and also not get kicked out." I said seriously but smiling. It was of course fake. But they didn't know that. They didn't need to know anything about my happiness. They didn't need to know my bullies are over there.

We got into the elevator and Cal pushed the 5th floor button. During the ride up Mikey was messing with electricity like connecting them together from his fingers. Calum was looking at his hand which he turned it into a paw. I just looked through images in my head until the elevator stopped onto our floor. "What room number are we?" I asked.

"Uh, 523." He said pointing to a room with the numbers 523 on it. We walk towards it and Calum whipped out the key then opened the door.

When I opened the door I grasped on how big the room is. There was a living room and doors branching off from it. There was a kitchen too. I heard someone clear their throat behind them. I turned around and almost flinched but I kept my cool so my brothers wouldn't find out.

"Hello!" I said faking my cheerfulness. "My name is Christina Hemmings but you can call me Chris." I faked a smile and held my hand out for a handshake. "I'm the sister of 5sauce."

They stared at me in shock. Nobody looked at my eyes. Nobody knew I was lying. Cameron shook my hand with a smile on his face but confusion was clearly on it too. "Well my name is Cameron but Cam for short. This is Aaron, Matt, Shawn, Taylor, Jack G., Jack J., Nash, Hayes, Carter, Brent, Chris and Mahogany aka Lox." He named pointing to everyone. I waved and they waved back.

Lox ran up to me and hugged me. Me being the awkward person I am I didn't know what to do so I was stiff as a board. She pulled away jumping up and down. "Oh my god!" She yelled excitedly. "Finally another girl!" I laughed a little. She had really curly hair, a red head, has freckles and over all beautiful. That made me sad a little bit but I kept up the fake smile and laughed.

"Nice to meet you." I said. "I got to go unpack and get settled in but here's my phone and put your phone numbers in so we can talk." I handed them my phone from my pocket and they entered all of their numbers, sending a text to themselves so they can add me in their contacts. Shawn handed me back my phone awkwardly and I grabbed it from his grasp. "Thanks! I'll text you when I'm done unpacking." I said walking into one room where Cal and Mikey entered.

Once I closed the door I sighed from relief and stopped smiling cause my cheeks hurt. I massaged my checks while unpacking. I'm really not use to smiling so much. Mikey and Cal were passed out on a bed cuddling. I giggled when I first saw it but there was a pain in my cheeks. I took my phone out and took a photo of the both of them and tweeted it saying 'MALUM IS REAL PEOPLE'. I don't know where Luke and Ash are so I decided to text them.

'Hey where are you and Luke?' I asked. I sat down on a bed when I felt a vibration making me jump. I grabbed my phone, unlocked it and l launched the texting app. 'We're heading up rn.' He texted back.

I sighed and laid down with phone in hand looking at the ceiling. I decided to look through my contacts and chuckled a little while looking through the new ones. I'm surprised that they didn't send any insults or threats my way.

Maybe this won't be so bad.
