Ch. 6: The Pool Pt. 2

Aphmau's POV

To be honest, I thought what Laurence did to Garroth was quite funny. Although I did feel super bad for Garroth. The poor guy is sitting all alone at the table. Should I go talk to him? Yeah, I should. I got up and walked over to Garroth.

"Garroth....." I said as I sat next to him. He looked at me. I wonder what he's thinking about. "Ya know, if Laurence didn't push you off, your dive would've been amazing." I said.

"You sure...." He said.

"Positive. Garroth I know why you went to jump off the diving board...." I said.

"Y-you do?!?" He said.

"Yeah, the girls talk to loud..." I said. He looked at the ground. "I am proud that you did that for me. You tried. Sure you failed. But Garroth... Don't let fear of failure keep you from trying. Maybe when Laurence isn't here, you can show me your dive." I said. He looked at me and smiled. I hugged him.

"A-Aphmau.....t-thanks...." Garroth said as he hugged back.

"Garroth, do tell....what are you feeling right now?" I asked.

"I-I felt anger, but now that you're here, I'm feeling better." He said.

"Good." I grabbed his hand. "Now come on, let's join our friends." I said. We both got up. I started leading him over to the group but he stopped me.

"Aphmau, I'm sorry, but I hope you don't mind me leaving..." He said.

"What?" I asked.

"I know, after what you said, but, I kinda want to be alone for awhile. Is that fine." He said.

"Sure......I understand. Maybe later today, I'll visit you at your apartment." I said. He nodded. He then let go of my hand and walked out of the doors. I walked over to the group. Dante, Aaron, and Laurence joined us.

"Sooo, did Garroth leave because of his anger issues." Katelyn joked. Look who's talking!!!

"W-what! That's not such a nice thing to say about anyone!" I said.

"Then tell us why he left....." Lucinda demanded.

"....... Its something Garroth wants to keep to himself." I said.

"Then why did he tell you?" Katelyn asked.

"Uhhhhh......" I had no idea what to say.

"So, I guess Garroth doesn't trust us, eh!" Katelyn said.

"Kawaii~Chan thinks Garroth~Kun and Aphmau~Senpai like each other." Kawaii~Chan said. Everyone laughed except Aaron and Laurence. Then I felt a vibration....it was a text from Garroth.

G:Aphmau, I just passed by someone. I think they're going to the pool.
A: Ok, why tell me?
G: Well someone is not gonna be happy....haha!!
A: This better not be a prank!
G: Its not! Trust me!
A: Ha! Just kidding! 😄
G: Heh! Well cya later!
A: Cya!

"So, was that Gar~Gar!" Katelyn said.

"No it was no one." I said.

"No one huh!" Katelyn said. Then we heard the door open. Then I saw......Travis...... Ohhhhhhhh...so that's what Garroth meant. Hahaha! This is what Katelyn gets!!!

"Hey!!!! Wait!! It's the hot lady with the anger issues!!" Travis said.

"Uhhhh.....who are you!!" Katelyn asked.

"Travis! I told your friend to give you my number." Travis said. Katelyn is gonna explode. Katelyn got out of the water.

"Wait! NOOOOONONONONONONO!! This can't be happening!!!!!!!" Katelyn yelled.

"Hey! You look even hotter with that bikini on!" Travis said as he walked over to Katelyn and winked at her.

"Nonono!!!! Get away from me!!!!" Katelyn yelled. She started running away from him. He chased after her. Everyone burst out laughing!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!! Even Aaron was laughing!!!!! This is priceless. Laurence got out of the pool and stood next to me.

"Well, Katelyn deserved it!" Laurence said.

"I think you deserve it to!" I said.

"What! Are you gonna chase after me?" He asked.

"No, something worse will happen to you I know it!" I said.

"Heh, keep thinking that!!" Laurence said.

"I will!" I said. I know Garroth will get you back Laurence! Hehehe!! I thought.
