Ch. 14: Around Phoenix Drop

Aphmau's POV

Great! Just great! Laurance is mad! I've never seen him like this before. This was new to me! Garroth's looking out the door to see if Laurance is somewhere in the halls. He is not there.

"*sigh* This is all my fault!!! I should've stayed out of the way!! Ugh!! Aphmau! Follow me! We're going to go find Laurance!" Garroth said as he took my hand and dragged me out of the apartment. We ran out of the apartment building and looked around.

"Where would Laurance go?!?!" I asked, assuming that Garroth would know.

"I don't know! There are so many possibilities to where he could be!!" He said.

"I have an I idea! Maybe he went back to his apartment!!!" I said.

"Maybe! Let's head there now!!" He said.

~Meanwhile~

Laurance is nowhere to be found!!!! Garroth and I ran all over Phoenix Drop!! We went to his apartment, we went back to Garroth's apartment to see if Laurance went back there, and we went to the park! I was so tired so Garroth carried me bridal-style the whole way. We had no idea where to go now, so we where just walking around the city.

"Aphmau, I'm taking you home...." Garroth said. Wait! What!

"Garroth! No! I want to help!" I said. I just realized that I wasn't any help. He was carrying me!

"Aphmau. You look tired. I'm taking you home no matter what you say!" He said.

"But I'm not tired!" I said.

"It's 4:30 in the morning! Of course you are tired!" He said.

"Are you tired?" I asked him.

"N-no.... I'm fine!" He said. Ok, I knew he was tired.

"Garroth, let me walk....." I said. "You're tired and you need rest too." He didn't let me go.

"Aphmau! I told you I'm not tired!"

Garroth's POV

I'm tired......

Aphmau's POV

"Garroth! Let me go!" I said. He started running. "Why are you running!"

"To get you home fast so you can get some sleep!" He said. Wait! Don't I need to get my stuff! Well, I've got my pajamas on me so I've got one thing! Argh!!!!! That's not important!!

"Garroth! You're the one who needs sleep!!!" I said.

~After a whole lot of arguing over who is more tired~

Garroth opened my apartment door. He was still carrying me so it was a bit tuff for him. He opened my bedroom door and plopped me down on my bed.

"Ok, well, I'm gonna go search for Laurance. I'll cya----"

"No, you're sleeping here!" I cut him off. He sighed.

"Aphmau, Laurance is my friend. I have to find him." Garroth said.

"Can't you just wait till this morning! Please!" I gave him puppy eyes.

"Ehhhhhhh....."

"Pwease!!!!!" I said like a baby.

"Ugh! Fine!! I'll stay here!" He said. "I'm sleeping on the couch." I got up.

"I'll sleep on the other couch then!" I said.

"Ummm, why not just sleep in here?" He asked.

"Because I know you'll sneak out! So I'll sleep on one couch! You sleep on the other!" I said.

"Fine!" I took his hand and walked him into the living room. I laid down while he laid down on the other couch. "Sweet dreams Aphmau...." He said.

"You too Garroth....." I said as I slowly drifting off to sleep.
