Ch. 30: The Gang

Aphmau's POV

I was literately running the streets of Phoenix Drop. I looked behind me. I saw the three still running behind me. I looked to see where I was going. Luckily, no one was in front of me. Great! Garroth is now gonna worry about me not being there. Maybe he'll think I chickened out! Maybe he'll think I died! Nah.... Hopefully he's not there yet.

"You can't run Kitty!" The guy screamed behind me. Ugh! Why did I get myself in this mess!?

I was walking the streets of Phoenix Drop, on my way to the prison. I really need a car. None of my friends have cars and I can't ask for rides. I have the money! I just need to buy it!

"Ugh... Katelyn and Lucinda are gonna get it! How did they even get in this situation? I mean seriously! Jail! Ugh....." I mumbled to myself, as I kept walking. I walked past a couple shops, restaurants, and a few alleys.

"We need Laurance to join our group again." "I guess showing that picture wasn't enough Sasha." I heard two faint voices say. I looked in an alley. I believe this is where the voices are coming from. I slowly walked down the alley, but I didn't see anyone. The voices got louder.

"I thought that picture would make him join. But he got mad and pushed me in a puddle. I didn't even get to ask him to join." "We're not asking him to join. We're making him." "Ugh! Why do we even need Laurance!? He's a joke! That's why he kicked himself out of the group!" "Zenix.... we need Laurance to become a bad boy again. Laurance was cool. Now he's all flirty with girls and has a soft side for this shorty here! Showing him this picture was supposed to make him turn on them and join our group again." "I don't see the point! Why do we need more members?!" "We need help with vandalizing places. Also... it's fun to toy around with new members."

I know eavesdropping is kinda bad, but they were talking about Laurance! I think they were talking about Laurance..... Maybe this is a different Laurance....

"Gene is right..." "Yeah right Sasha! You just want Laurance in the group because you think he's hot!" "Shut up baby!" "Make me! I ain't a baby!" "You whine all the time!" Quiet! Both of you are babies!" "Pfft!" "Whatever.."

I started to walk closer so I could see these people.

*Snap!*

I looked down and saw that I stepped on a twig. Hopefully they didn't hear it. I looked up to see three people staring at me. The guy in the middle had black hair and blue eyes. The guy on the left had dark brown hair and brown eyes. The girl on the right had white hair and purple eyes.

Hmmm.... White hair and purple eyes. Wait! That's the girl who took a picture of Garroth and me kissing! Darn it!

Never eavesdrop kids! Or else you can get in a situation like this!

"Well... well.... well.... Look at what we have here. A potato." The guy with the black hair said. " You look strangely familiar. Have I seen you around Phoenix Drop before."

"N-not that I know of." I stuttered. He raised his eyebrow.

"Really... Sasha... Can I see your phone?" He asked as he held out his hand to who I'm assuming is Sasha. She placed her phone in his hand. He looked at the screen for awhile and did an evil laugh. Seriously... what's up with the laugh...?

"Heh! It seems like we hit the jackpot! So you're the girl that Laurance has the hots for. Right?" He showed me the screen of the phone. And of course.... It had Garroth and me kissing on it. He took it away from my face and looked at it again. "So I see you like Blondie instead. It's pretty clear you guys are making out."

"We weren't making out! It was just a peck!" I shouted at him. His eyes widen.

"Feisty girl... ehh Gene." Sasha said. Gene still had his eyes widen and the dark brown haired guy, who I'm assuming is Zenix, smirked at me.

"I like you. Let's call this potato..... hmm.... Kitty." He said to me.

"My name isn't Kitty! And I'm not joining your stupid group!" I yelled.

"Woah! Slow down Blondie Lover!" Zenix said. Gene looked at him and slapped his cheek.

"Oww! What the heck was that for!?" Zenix yelped as he grabbed his cheek.

"Zenix... where are your manners? This young lady's name is Kitty." Gene said as he smirked at me. I growled. " See... She's even got the growl of a young, feisty feline herself."

"Shut up!" I yelled. Sasha nugded Gene. Gene looked at her and she nodded.

"Oh right!" Gene looked at me. "Back to business! So... what's your beef with Laurance?"

"My beef...?" I had a confused look on my face.

"You know! Why do you not have feelings for him...?" Gene asked.

"I'm not answering that!" I yelled. I started to back up. They started to walk towards me.

"We're not done yet Kitty..." Gene said. I didn't know what to do. I don't even know these people! And how do they know Laurance!? They said something about Laurance being in they're group. I don't know. Oh! I know what to do!

Run.

So yeah. I ran.

"Hey!" Sasha screamed as all three of them chased after me. I ran out of the alley and on to the street. I wish Garroth was here!

And that's where I am now! I reached in my pocket and grabbed my phone. I tried typing in the number, but typed in the wrong digit a couple times and had to press 'backspace'.

Finally, I hit the 'call' button and put the phone up to my ear.

Ringing..... Still ringing......

"Hello..?" I heard his voice.

"Garroth... Need..... Help!" I said between breaths.

"W-What! Is everything alright!?" He asked.

"No! Find... me... on..." I looked to see where I was. I was almost in Town Square. " To--" I then felt myself falling. I felt the impact of the ground to my head.

"Aphmau?!" I heard his voice on the phone. Then all I could see was black....

Garroth's POV

"Aphmau?!" I screamed into the phone. Lucinda and Katelyn were just staring at me. We were just on the streets of Phoenix Drop, almost to Lucinda's apartment building.

"Is everything okay!?" Katelyn yelled.

"....." I stayed silent to see if she would answer.

"Hey! Is Aphmau okay!" Lucinda and Katelyn screamed in my ear. They're eyes were filled with worry.

"I-I don't know..." I answered.
