Ch. 8: Ihop!

Aphmau's POV

So Garroth was giving me a piggy back ride because I was being lazy. We were walked to Ihop because, ya know, everyone likes breakfast for dinner! I honestly felt bad for Garroth to carry me.

"Garroth, you don't have to carry me." I said.

"Well, you seemed a bit tired....I wanted to help." He said.

"Yeah, but still." I said.

"If you're really uncomfortable with me carrying you, you can always walk." He said.

"Wait! I don't want to walk!" I whined.

"That's what I thought." Garroth said. "Out of curiosity, how was the pool after I left?"

"Hehehehehe!!!! It was full of Travlyn!!!" I said.

"Travlyn? Seriously!" Garroth said.

"Yes!!!! The ship name for Travis and Katelyn!" I said. We finally reached Ihop. I got off of Garroth and we went inside. It was packed with people. Great!!

"Well, at least we don't have to wait since I don't see anyone else waiting." Garroth said. We walked up to the waiter and asked for a table.

~Meanwhile~

We got our pancakes and water. They had little tables outside so we sat there. It wasn't to warm, so there were no bugs. It was one of those weird cold days in the middle of summer. But I was glad it was kinda cold.

"You cold?" Garroth asked me.

"No, I'm fine." I said.

"Good.....soooo....." Garroth said.

"Sooooo......?" I asked.

"What are we gonna do after this?" He asked.

"I'm not sure. Hmmmm...." I thought.

"You can sleep over at m-my place if you want?" Garroth stuttered.

"Yes!!!!! GARROTH AND APHMAU'S BEST FRIEND SLEEPOVER TIME!!!!!!" I said.

"O-oh....ok....great! Do you need to head back to your place after this to get your things?" He asked.

"Oh right! I almost forgot! But yes, you came come with!" I said.

"Sure!" He said.

"Sooo, how do you feel?" I asked.

"About what?" He asked.

"Like, how do you feel about the whole pool thing now?" I asked.

"I don't know, better I guess." He said. He looked down at his food. I had no idea what to say to him, or ask him anything. There was just literally nothing to talk about. So we just sat there awkwardly, eating our pancakes.

~Meanwhile~

So Garroth and I walked out of Ihop.

"So, we heading to your place?" He asked.

"Yep! I just need to get somethings." I said. He nodded. He then grabbed my hand and smiled at me. I smiled back.
