Mafia Love ✔

01 - Revised

So I've been thinking, when I first wrote Mafia Love when I was younger and now that I look back, it is more of a love story and less of a Mafia story, which I wasn't hoping for. So I'm debating if I should rewrite the whole story or continue it.

So I'm going to give a sample of Chapter One revised, not all the characters will be ooc ( out of character ). So please tell me your thoughts :)

Chapter One Revised

      Lucy took a deep breath as she set the flowers down on the grave, it was beautifully decorated with roses and a single tulip with a brown teddy bear stood out from the others. It was her brother's first teddy bear and her mother's favorite type of flower. The blonde haired girl felt her chest tighten as she read the names that were engraved on the stone.

Layla and Luke Heartfillia

"Miss Lucy are you ready?" A voice asked. The young girl nodded stiffly and looked up to see a pink haired girl, she was currently looking at the limo driver who was starting to look impatient from waiting in the hot sun. Lucy stood up and stood next to the girl with a sad expression.

"Maybe if mom had never gotten involved with him, she wouldn't have been here." She stated coldly, once again putting up a cold exterior, but in the inside, she was slowly crying inside. She missed her mother and brother dearly. She stepped into the black limo and saw her step sister texting rapidly on her phone and her mother staring intently at Lucy. Her green eyes glancing from the grave to the blonde haired girl as if she was expecting to see her tear stained and looking like a crying baby who lost her favorite toy.

"Mother can you tell Naru to drive already we're late for our flight!" Hakura complained, fixing her red hair and checking her make-up. Vanessa nodded and signaled for Naru to start driving to the airport where their suppose to meet Lucy's father. "I can't believe we're moving to Magnolia, I heard they have the greatest boy- I mean book stores." The red haired girl laughed nervously. Lucy rolled her eyes and looked out the window.

"Remember Hakura, you are not allowed to leave the mansion alone, there are other gangs that live in Magnolia-"

"Yeah I know mom, there's Sabertooth, but I heard a teenage boy owns that entire gang....is that true?" Lucy looked at Vanessa, who was debating to answer.

"Sting, that's his name. He killed the former gang leader over a lost cat, turns out that stupid cat was being hidden by another member." Lucy answered in a bored tone.

"Gosh, I hope he's hot." Haruka gushed out. Haruka was only 16 years old, she wasn't experienced at fighting nor any type of combat. Though she did know how to pick her boys-note the sarcasm. "Not that I would try anything mom, daddy said I was only allowed to shop and go to school." She added quickly with a small smile.

"Wouldn't be the first time you said something like that." Lucy mumbled crossing her arms, looking out the window.

"Lucy Heartfillia you do not talk to your sister like that, I expect you to behave too young lady!" Vanessa scowled. "You almost got killed last week in the fight between Little Hill and our gang."

"I  just got shot in the leg, it was nothing." Lucy argued. She noticed they were slowly arriving at the private plane, she recognized the black plane waiting and her father talking to his two favorite members of the gang, Loke, and Aquarius, who was her mother's best friend and partner in crime in her earlier years.
