CHAPTER EIGHTEEN
Lucy stepped out into the night surrounded by her men, beside her was Natsu Dragneel. The pink haired boy had a serious look on his face as he saw Loke and Kol get dragged out to the van, both men were beaten up, blood staining the cement. Gray came out with a bucket of water drenching the floor and hiding the evidence, he nodded at Natsu and walked away. Someone lightly touched her shoulder causing Lucy to turn around immediately.
"It's only me Lucy don't worry," Erza assured her. "Would you like me to accompany you back home?" The worry in the scarlet-haired girl was noticeable, but she promised herself she wouldn't burden anyone. Today she only agreed to have help because she felt like she needed to assure her dad, she was thankful for the Dragneels because her heart was still aching.
"I'll be fine, don't worry." She turned to face Igneel who looked at the young girl with worry, Lucy bowed down and lightly forced a smile. "Thank you for the assistance Mr. Dragneel, I'll everyone know what happened." Igneel smiled in return and nodded. She felt Natsu's stare as she walked to the car, but ignored it. She couldn't break again, she told herself to be strong.

Natsu watched Lucy get in the car and watched it drive away. His father sighed and rubbed his face tiredly, Erza merely looked away and he felt his heart sink. How come she didn't look at him? How could she even act like everything is ok? Natsu was driven out of his thoughts when he felt someone pat his shoulder, he turned to see his dad.
"Let's go home Natsu, I'm sure Wendy misses you." Natsu merely nodded and followed his dad inside the car, his mind still on the blonde hair girl.
There will be a longer one, this is just an opening to the next chapter and a warning.
Perhaps a spicy NaLu moment ohoho who knows, it is February after all.
