Beth's POV

I was awoken by being shaken.

"Whattt???" I said.

"I'm going to leave, breakfast is one the table." He said.

He kissed my forehead and walked out of the room. Slowly, I got up and grabbed my shoes with the knives in them.

"Bye, Beth!" Matt yelled as I heard the door close.

I wanted to make sure he was gone so I went over to the front door. Looking through a small peephole, I saw Matt put my father's dead body in his truck. Then, he pulled out of the garage.

"Yes." I said to myself.

I went back to my room and grabbed the knives out of my shoes. Putting the knives in my backpack, I threw the backpack over my shoulder. Quietly and slowly, I walked to the front door to find an exit.

"Dammit." I said quietly when I found the door was locked.

I knew it would be locked but I still had some hope. Looking out the small window, I knew I could TRY to fit through it.

*crash*

I broke the small window making sure to get all the glass off. Trying to fit in the window wasn't too hard until I reached were I needed to fit my hips through. Knowing I couldn't fit, I crawled back in the house and looked for another way to get out. Wait, there was a metal bat in the torture room.

I walked over to the torture room and grabbed the metal bat. Walking back to the door, I started to hit the window with the bat.

*bang bang*

The window was completely destroyed. I threw the backpack through the window and then crawled out the window.

"Yes, finally." I said to myself.

All I had to do now was get out of the garage. Looking around the garage, I saw a door. Gong through the door, it was open! I looked to see if Matt was anywhere watching me. Nope. Deciding what to do next was hard because I was in the woods. First I looked for a car, nope. I guess I have to walk.

"Ugh." I said as I kept walking in the forest.

Walking was so tiring when it has been longer than 3 hours. I have to be close to some civilization at least.

"Hi, squirrel." I said when I saw a squirrel.

Oh course it didn't say anything back but it would have been cool if it did.

I kept walking and it was starting to get dark. Debating on what to do, I chose to sleep outside in a tree.

"Yep, this one." I said to myself when I found a tree to sleep in.

Climbing the tree wasn't too hard since I loved climbing trees when I was little. I got up the tree and pulled out some chips I packed. They didn't eliminate the feeling of hunger, but it helped a lot. Looking in the distant on the road, I couldn't see any lights. He brought me somewhere FAR from civilization. Great.

I started to get tired and I knew I would need energy for tomorrow. It was a cold and dark night. Finally, I fell asleep in the tree.

Matt's POV

I drove to the police station that I kidnapped Beth in and dropped the body off in front of the door.

"Matt?" I heard a familiar voice say.

I looked in the direction of the voice and saw my sister, May.

"May." I said knowing she would be mad I killed Andrew.

"Why the hell did you kill Andrew???" She yelled at me.

"I have to go." I said running to my truck.

"Tell me why!" She yelled at me as I started the truck.

"I did it for Beth." I said before I sped off.

I decided to find a dark parking lot so I can sleep in my truck since if I get a hotel room someone will most likely recognize me. Finally, I found a spot to sleep.

May's POV

Matt sped off in his truck, I knew I had to do something. I got my phone out and dialed the police.

Hello?
Hey, it's May Brown. I saw Matt speed off in a truck.
Do you know where he is?
No, but I know he is in a white pickup. He shouldn't go too far.
Okay, thank you so much.
Yeah.

I hung up on the officer and got in my car to go home.

Jake's POV

I woke up in my hotel room and realized it was really early. Even though it was early, I still got up to go find Beth.

"I'm coming Beth." I said to a picture of Beth I was holding in my hand.

Walking out the door, I went down to the lobby.

"Have a good day!" The lady at the desk said.

"You too." I said as I rushed out the door to find Beth.

*Ring Ring*

I answered my phone and it was Raven.

Hello?
You have to come back home.
I can't, I'm so close to finding her.
Jake, how do you know that?
I don't know.
Then come home.
I can't rest until she is safe again.
Jake, please come home.
I can't. I have to go.
Bye.

I hung up on Raven and searched for abandoned places in Canada or any houses owned by Matt.

"Ah ha." I said to myself.

The page had a list of abandoned places in this part of Canada. I decided to go to one that was in the woods since it is the one with the longest distance away from civilization.
