Police with News : Chapter Nineteen

Beth's POV

"You better look outside!" Jane said to me.

I looked out the window and saw police cars, news vans, and just random people. There were about 100 cars.

"Well look at that... people missed me." I told Matt as police officers came in the house.

"I will see you again!" He yelled as he was being untied.

I went and grabbed Jane's hand because she was in our room and went out the door to be bombarded by so many people asking if I was okay and abc news people. Wow. National news for this.

"What happened inside this house?" A news reporter asked.

"Are you okay?" A random woman says.

"Who is the horrible man who did this?" Said a man.

"STOP!" I yelled which made EVERYONE quiet.

"Where is my mother?" I asked.

Everything was silent.

"We should get you to the station." A police officer said as he was squeezing through the crowd.

I picked up Jane and grabbed his hand.

"Let me see your badge!" I yelled so he could hear me.

I looked at the badge and it was real. Where else would I go? What if he is another fake officer?

"Ma'am... I know you probably can't trust anyone but your sister right now but you need to get inside the car." He said.

I cried being overwhelmed. I decided to go. Once I got in the cruiser I sat in the front seat with Jane on my lap.

"Ma'am, she needs to be in a seat." He said pointing to the back seat.

"No. I am not letting her out of my sight." I said as he shrugged and started the car.

It took a while to get through all the people. Finally, we got on the road and drove.

"Sir, where is my mother?" I asked.

"Ma'am I cannot give you any information yet." He said.

"Is she dead?????" I said panicking.

I was getting an anxiety attack from him not answering me.

"Please. I need to know." I begged him as I was breathing heavy.

"I cannot say any information." He said.

"Then let me get the hell out of this damn car!" I yelled at him.

"I cannot do that." He said.

What if my mother is dead? Is he a fake police officer? What is going on? Why were there so many people at that house?

Darkness overwhelmed me.

Matt's POV

I was being taken to the police car while people booed me. What is this... a football game???

"I will see you again, Beth!!!!" I screamed as I was thrown into the police car.

Beth's Mother's POV

When I got a call from Beth I was so relieved even though I am still sad about Jane being gone.

I heard a knock and it was the man who took Beth.

I went to run away but was shot in my back.

"What the hell????" I screamed at him.

"Thank you for your daughter... Sorry this is part of my plan." He said as he left and closed the door.
