34. Youngjae (Goodbye)

"So... this is goodbye then?" He looks at you with teary eyes.

"M-maybe it is." You sniff trying to resist the urge to cry.

"I'll miss you." He says again and you look at him.

"Don't. Don't miss me. I'm not worthy to be mi-" You feel a pair of arms hug you. You are already crying as his tears fall on your shoulder.

"You are, _____! I'm going to miss you and love you always!" Suddenly your legs become jelly and you tremble down.

"No Youngjae! Don't ever miss or love me! We did a mistake! You have your own family!"

Though how painful it felt to say it, you managed to shout it to him. But it's true, he already has his own family and you were just a part of his past.

"B-but..." He trails off sitting down to your level.

"We can't go back in time, Youngjae. We broke up 3 years ago, and for those 3 years you've already found someone you really love. You even have a kid of your own! So just stop, let's just stop this affair, Youngjae!" You push him and he falls backwards.

"We're not having an affair, ______. You know I really love you." He hugs you again and this time, it's tighter. "Please, ______, please." He whispers.

"Goodbye, Youngjae." You pull yourself carefully from him and stand up. You run away leaving him staring on the ground, dumbfounded.
