40. JB (7 minutes: Part 2)

It has been three days since you and JB last spoke to each other. You didn't tell anybody about what had happened when the both of you were in the closet.

You're in the classroom, alone. Class had just ended but you still didn't go out. You're waiting for someone, or at least expecting someone to pick you up.

Suddenly, the door opens and you avert your eyes towards a guy with his backpack slung over his shoulder.

"Why are you still here?" Junior asks and you press your lips into a thin line.

"Just thinking about some things." You reply.

He pulls the chair in front of you and sits on it.

"It's JB, am I right?" You tense up hearing the name of the guy who kissed you in the closet.

"N-no."

"You're such a terrible liar." He ruffles your hair and chuckles.

Meanwhile, another person was listening to your conversation. He was behind the door, hiding himself.

"You like him, don't you?" He asks again.

"No way! Never ever!" You shake your head.

"If that's so, then do you like somebody else?" He puts his elbow on the table with his palm supporting his chin.

"You're talking nonsense." You scoff.

"Do you like me?" He does aegyo which made you smile a bit.

"It's a yes then. Come on." He immediately pulls you up, making you shocked in the process. The guy behind the door quickly runs away before Junior exits with you.

He leads you to the cafeteria where everybody else were.

"Everybody, listen up!" He stands up on one of the tables.

Silence came and everybody looks at the guy making an announcement.

"So, there's this girl I know. Sweet, caring, kind, beautiful, she's perfect." He finally looks at you with sincere eyes.

"It would be a shame if some slacker ends up with her, right?" He looks behind you but you didn't turn around to see who it was. Instead, you walk closer to him, telling him to stop.

"This girl, she deserves more than that. She deserves someone who could take care of her for the rest of her lifetime, someone who could love her than himself."

He finally goes down from the table and moves closer to you. Everybody then looks at the two of you as he holds your hands.

"______, will you be my gi-"

A hand suddenly grips tightly on your wrist and pulls you outside of the cafeteria. As you were being pulled, you see Junior laughing and Jackson joins him. The rest of the guys come and looks at you but there was someone missing.

You look at the person's hand which was somewhat familiar. You then proceed to look at his face but unfortunately, it was facing in front.

You found yourself at the rooftop and the person loosens his grip on you.

"JB?"

He doesn't respond and turns away from you.

"Why did you bring me here?" You ask as he heaves a sigh.

He walks away from you then laying his elbows on the handrail at the edge of the rooftop. He looks at the scenery silently with a plain expression.

"I don't know either." He answers as he lowers his head.

"Whatever." You roll your eyes being unsatisfied with his reply.

As you turn around, you feel a pair of arms embrace you tightly. It was a warm hug and you somehow liked the feeling.

"Don't leave me, please." He says in a low tone yet you heard it.

"Why are you doing this to me?" You suddenly burst out tears from your eyes, being confuse like a lost child.

He hugs you more tight, not wanting to release you. Then realization strikes you.

"I... I love you, ______. You don't know how much I wanted to tell you those words. I was a coward and until now, I still am. I'm sorry." He then pulls out from the hug. You turn around to see his eyes, crying too.

"Why are you saying sorry?"

"Maybe, it's because I was the one who made you hate me when all I just wanted was to make you like me. But I guess it's all too late since Junior... he already asked you out."

You remain silent until a small smile made its way to your lips.

"About that, I wasn't really going to say yes." He lifts his head up in disbelief but his expression says the opposite as a small smile was evident on his lips.

"Really?"

"I would say yes if you were the one who asked me. But since it wasn't yo-"

He quickly leans in and kisses you in the lips. You also hear some cheers coming from the other guys behind you.

"I love you so much, ______! I will forever cherish this moment with you!" He hugs you again and you return it.

"I want to be your children's godfather alright!" Jackson shouts he receives a smack from Junior.
