10. Jackson (First love)

I changed McDonald's to McRonald's to avoid copyrights okay? So, please don't make an issue about it. Also, I want to acknowledge a Philippine commercial, because that is where I got this idea from. I added it in the multimedia if you want to watch it.

You are driving your way to your work when you feel a sudden rumble in your stomach. "Oh yeah, I haven't eaten breakfast yet." You forgot to eat breakfast because you were running late to go to the company you're working at.

You then see a McRonald's beside the highway, 'To the drive thru!' You think to yourself.

But then, you didn't make it to the drive thru, as there were many cars there. So you park your car and enter the fastfood to get your food faster.

"I'll have two pancakes and a hot coffee for take-out, please." You order as you take your wallet from your bag. "Oh, can you add hot fudge and fries, thanks."

"Okay ma'am, please sit there for a while and just wait for your number to be called, thank you!" The cashier nods.

You walk to the waiting area and suddenly you feel a little kid bump to your side.

"Oh my, are you okay?" You ask the little boy worriedly as you help him stand up.

He nods and turns his back to you. "Appa!" He shouts.

You look up and see a familiar figure in front of you. He has a muscular body and is wearing a frown on his face. You stand up and talk to the 'stranger'.

"I'm sorry for my son, he's been craving for an ice cream lately... and he got it just now." The stranger's voice becomes all clear to you now. It's him Jackson, your first love.

"Jackson?" You ask in a delightful tone.

He looks surprised and analyzes your face. "_____?" His eyes widen.

"Sweetie? Who's that?" Suddenly, a female voice comes from behind him.

"Oh honey, this is ______. She's an old friend, our mothers know each other." He replies.

You look at the woman's image and you can tell by her actions that she might be, or rather, that she 'is' Jackson's wife.

"Hello, nice to meet you!" You shake hands with her.

Knowing that you are now seeing Jackson right in front of you. you remember the day you met each other.

~Flashback~

Your mother drove you to your favorite fastfood chain, McRonald's. You were craving for french fries because you got hungry after your ballet class.

"I'll order 2 french fries in a medium sized cup, and two colas."  Your mother ordered.

"Yay, mommy ordered me french fries!" You shouted as you raised both of your arms in the air.

"______?" A female voice called your mom, you turned to your upper side and see a woman hugging your mother.

You looked beside her and saw a little boy at your age clutching on her pants. "She's so cute!." You felt the other woman pinch your cheeks gently.

"Jackson, this is your aunt." The little boy revealed himself and took a step forwards.

You sat beside your mother while the other two sat on the opposite side of the booth. The women talked about their highschool years while you and Jackson stayed silent.

Jackson suddenly took a piece of your french fries.

"Yah! That's mine!" You protested. He ignored you and dipped the french fry into his hot fudge. You were amazed by his action.

"Here, try it." He gave you his ice cream and you tried to do the same.

"It's good right?" He asked while chewing his food and you nod.

The both of you finished your food at the same time, so you insisted on going to the playground with him.

You dragged him to where the kids play and he tagged along.

When you left McRonald's, you got sad because you didn't know when you will see him again.

At home, you looked inside your bag to look for your tutu (ballet skirt). Then you saw a tissue paper with something written on it.

You took a closer look and see the words written in a kid's handwriting.

'This is not goodbye, so see you later ______!

~End of Flashback~

You sit at the booth and place your order on the table, you do this even though you are already late for your work.

Jackson and his family sits on the opposite side and you talk with them.

Finishing your meal, you take a french fry and dip it on your hot fudge. Jackson sees this and he smiles, you then smile back to him too.

"Aunt ______, let's go to the playground!" His son holds on to your wrist.

"Thanks, but I have to go now, I have to go to work." You reason out.

The little boy pouts but smiles again as his mother accompanies him to the playground.

"So, is this goodbye then?" Jackson stands up from the booth.

"Well, it's more of like a 'see you later' to me." The both of you laugh and you bid a farewell to him.

You're in your car starting the engine, when your phone suddenly rings.

You pick up your phone and see that JB is calling you.

"Where are you?" He asks.

"I just ate breakfast, sorry." You apologize.

"Well, hurry here now, we have a meeting." He orders.

"Okay, okay, is that the only reason why you want me to hurry?" You ask in your sweetest tone.

"Fine, I also miss you. Come here now, okay?"

"Okay, I love you too, jagi!"

With that, you continue to drive your way to your work.
