36. Yugyeom (Coming for you)

"Ppalli! Ppalli!" Faster horse-y!" You shout as you hold onto his neck while he carries you on his back.

"Ugh! You're so heavy!" He whines.

"Shut up or I won't buy you ice cream!"

"Ne, princess ______!"

The both of you stop at an open basketball court where you coincidentally see his other friends. Yugyeom immediately drops you leaving you with a wound on your hand.

"Yah! What did you that for?" You say as you stand up from the ground.

"Aye! Yugyeom-ah! Come here! Let's play ball!" He comes to them without even helping you. You follow him and they notice you.

"______! You're here!" Jackson calls you. There are three other people that you don't know except for Jackson, Youngjae, and Mark.

"Annyeong!" You smile.

Jackson introduces you to their other friends who was JB, Bambam, and Junior while Yugyeom stays silent on the side.

"Oh? What's that on your hand?" You blush as Junior points at your hand.

"Oh that? I accidentally cut myself." You say as you glare at Yugyeom who is standing innocently.

"Ah... well do you wanna join us play basketball? We're lacking one player since Yugyeom's already joining." Bambam asks.

"Yah! Don't you see she has a wound?" Youngjae bursts out.

"Oops... sorry."

"It's okay, well I just have to wash this first."

"Oh, I'll help you with that. You guys start the game without me." Junior offers.

"Are you su-"

"Great! Play ball!" Jackson starts dribbling the ball and the other guys start to run.

You feel a hand on your wrist and you turn to see Junior walking towards the benches and you follow him.

"Are you sure you don't want to play? I mean, I could do it myself." You try to take the wet cloth but he swats your hand gently.

"It's alright, I've been playing for a long time now and this is what I do when those kids get hurt themselves." You chuckle when he referred to the guys as his kids.

"So... you're the famous ______?" He suddenly asks.

"Hmm...?"

Yugyeom's POV

What is Junior hyung trying to do? Why is he holding her hand? Why is she smiling?!

"Maknae! Catch!" Wait wha-

I wonder why the ball is getting nearer and then it hit me.

"Yugyeom!" Everyone is calling me but only one voice reaches my ears, ______'s.

My eyes suddenly get blurry and I see that my hyungs are all over me. Ugh... my head hurts so bad.

"I'm so sorry, Yugyeommie!" JB hyung cooes. So he was the one who hit me, wait until I get my revenge.

"Yugyeom-ah! Can you hear me?" Her voice, her sweet, sweet voice. "______?" I try to hold up my hand and caress her cheek.

"Yah! Yugyeom! Don't touch me!" Oops, I accidentally touched Mark hyung.

"Come on, get up, maknae." Jackson hyung says and everyone helps me get up.

"What happened to you? Weren't you listening to JB hyung? Get your head on the game, we're losing!" Bambam exclaims.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk, now, now, don't fight." Grrr... Junior hyung.

I glare at him and he looks at me then laughs.

"Mwo?" I frown at him.

"Ahh, I get it. Someone's a little... jelly." Jackson hyung says. What is he talking about? What did he mean by jelly?

"Oooohhh!" Everybody shouts except for her. She might as well be confused as me.

"Bambam! Can you come with me and buy snacks?" Jackson hyung slings his arm over Bambam's shoulder and he nods.

"Hey Youngjae! Care to bring Coco here?" Mark hyung and Youngjae hyung walk out.

"Well then... eomma and oppa will just do something, arasseo? Yugyeom-ssi, take care of her, alright?" JB hyung and Junior hyung then leave. Wait, oh now I get it.

"Well that was weird." She breaks the awkward silence between us.

"Y-yeah, weird." What will I say to her?

"Sooo... Junior oppa told me something..." Nooo! Don't call him oppa! I'm your oppa!

"He did?" I reply.

"He said something about you and..."

"What? What did he say about me?" If Junior hyung said something embarrassing...

"He said that you uhm..."

"What? What?" I didn't know that I'm already holding onto her shoulders and shaking them.

"He said that you like me!" I stop shaking her.

"He said that he likes you?!"

"No, you idiot! It's you who likes me!" He said that?

"Me? Like you? That's ridi-" I see that my hyungs are still here and they're glaring at me.

"Ridiculous? Good, 'cause that's what I thought of too. Goodbye." She scoffs and storms off angrily when my hyungs reveal themselves from their hiding places.

"What the heck, maknae!" They were attacking me with disappointing looks on their faces.

"You let her go, man." Jackson hyung says.

"Well that's what Passenger said, 'only know you love her when you let her go'." Mark hyung says.

"And you let her go." JB hyung continues.

"What should I do now?" I ask.

"Then do what Jason Mraz did, don't give up." Youngjae hyung answers.

"Yeah! Don't give up, man!" Bambam hits me on the shoulder.

"Yeah, I won't give up... I won't give up!" I raise my fist up in victory.

"Aww, my maknae's all grown up!" Junior hyung fake cries.
