1. Junior (Shoelace)

You are waiting at a bus stop for a shuttle to go home. Suddenly a boy comes up to you. "Excuse me, are you ______?" He asks. "Yeah that's me, what can I do for you?" You answer. "My name's Junior, do you remember me?"

After hearing his question, you analyze his face, trying to remember if you've seen him before. But you couldn't exactly tell if you have. "Sorry, I don't remember."

A frown plasters on his face, it seemed like he expected you to remember him. "It's okay, by the way your shoelace is untied." With that said, he went by and disappeared.

Walking in the corridors of your school, you hear your name being called behind you. It was him, Junior. "______! Have you eaten yet?" He asks.

You wonder why he was here. "What are you doing here?" You ask too.

"I just tranferred, I'm a senior like you!" Your heart beats because of the cute smile on his face.

"Oh, well I haven't eaten yet so-" You stop mid-sentence, because he pulled you by your arm. "Great! Let's go, I'm craving for spicy rice cakes." He exclaims.

Right after school, he accompanied you to the bus stop. "What a day!" He says, stretching his arms in the air.

"I know, but then..." You feel him looking at you which makes your heart beat even more. "What?" He asks.

"It's just, whenever I'm around you, it feels like I've known you somewhere in my past." You continued. He smiles at what you said. "It's because I am."

Suddenly, he takes a locket from his pocket. "Do you remember this?" He asks showing the locket he's holding.

You stare at the locket and Junior hands it to you for a closer look. You open it and see a picture of two kids. You recognize that it was you in the picture, but you didn't know the other kid.

"This is me when I was little, how'd you get this?" He takes the locket out of your hand and places his hands in yours.

"It's me, I'm Park Jinyoung." Upon earing that name, your heart breaks into a thousand pieces. You now remember him, Jinyoung, your long lost best friend. Eveything is coming back to you, you met each other at a playground when you two were younger.

~Flashback~

It was such a wonderful summer day in the afternoon, you were at the playground. There were many children playing but you were too shy to play with them. That's why you were reading your favorite book, 'The Princess and the Frog', alone on the bench. But then, two kids who were taller than you, got the book.

"Yah! Give that back!" You shouted.

"Not until you catch us!" They started running away, so you chased them. But then, you tripped and fell to the ground. You realized your sholace was untied.

"Are you alright?" A boy came up to you.

You were still shocked from what happened to you. "Ne, I'm oka- ow!"

You felt your ankle twisted. "You should be more careful. Next time, check your shoelaces, okay?" He tied your shoelace and you nodded as a response.

"I'm Jinyoung. Just wait here, I'll get your book." With that said, he ran and chased the two kids who got your book.

You were happy that time. And since then, you two became best friends. Whenever you would go to the playground, you would play with him. You also had given him a locket with a picture of you two.
