You saw me but never had the chance to look inside
You kept on a straight face as you passed by
Not wanting to look at the girl who had dark eyes

You stood by the doorway in our class
You caught up with your best friend's side
You kept your distance as I walked by
Not wanting to touch my skin that was cold as ice

I kept on a worried face as I passed by
Not wanting to see your crying eyes

I stood by the doorway in our class
I caught up with my fake friend's side
I kept you free as you walked by
Not wanting to let you know how much I want to hug you inside
