We burst through the door to Scott's house and came face to face with Isaac and a man I didn't recognize.

"What are you doing here?" Scott exclaimed and the man looked up.

"I could ask you the same thing." He repiled.

"Free period, we're doing group study." Stiles spoke up and the man looked like he didn't believe a word.

"Who's this?" He asked pointing at me.

"I'm Lucinda, I'm new to town, Scott was showing me around." I spoke up without skipping a beat, flashing him an award winning smile which he seemed to buy.

"Who's she?" He nodded at Meredith.

"She's my girlfriend!" Stiles said, putting his arm around her but Meredith leaned away.

"You're not my type." She said, scrunching up her nose.

"Well obviously, we have a lot to talk about," Stiles responded and I bit my lip, trying to fight back a laugh.

"We should, maybe take this upstairs?" Stiles suggested and then Meredith eyed up Isaac.

"He's my type." She announced.

"okay, Isaac can come too." Stiles approved.

We moved upstairs but Scott strayed back as his Dad pulled him aside. We took Meredith into Scott's room and put her on the bed. We looked at her expectantly until she spoke up.

"Lydia, you mena the red head girl." Meredith started and we nodded our heads vigorously.

"Yes, yes! Good. Progress!" Stiles cheered.

"Now all you gotta do is tell us where she is." Stiles instructed.

"Okay." Meredith started and I started to get excited. Maybe this could actually work.

"If she tells me." Meredith finished.

"If she tells you" Isaac said slowly.

"Can you ask her?" I questioned.

"I already did." She said with a chuffed smile on her face.

"Great! What did she say?" I asked.

"She said..." We waited with baited breath.

"She doesn't want to be found." Meredith told us solemnly.

"That's good too." Stiles said sarcastically.

"Isaac, we are not going to torture her!" I whisper-shouted.

"I mean scare her." He corrected.

"We are not going to psychologically torture her either!" Stiles whisper-shouted back at him.

"Fine." Isaac huffed.

"Okay, how about this. You said that she hears things, right?" Isaac asked and we nodded.

"Doesn't that mean, she's like Lydia? A banshee?" He asked Stiles eyes widened in realization and he crossed the room to crouch infront of her, Isaac and I following close behind.

"Okay just try to focus on the sounds around you, on what you're hearing. Focus on the silence." Stiles told her.

"Focus on the silence." Isaac echoed.

"Just listen to the silence." Stiles repeated, trying to get Meredith to concentrate.

"Listen to the-" Isaac echoed but Stiles cut him off.
