It was Petra and Olou's big day.
They decided to have a small wedding, but a big party afterwards. They invited only their closest friends and to the ceremony. They skipped the whole bridesmaids and groomsmen thing, but if they had done it, you totally would have been the maid of honor.
You sat next to your boss, Levi. You had been his personal assistant for two years now, and this was only the fifth time you had accompanied him to something that wasn't work related.
When the new married couple kissed, you could have sworn you saw Levi's jaw clench out of the corner of your eye.
The reception was at a hotel. It was a beautiful venue. A crystal chandelier hung from the ceiling, shimmer over a dance floor. Round tables were set around it, each with a bouquet of roses in the center.
Levi immediately went to the bar and ordered two shots of vodka.
"Do you need anything, sir?" You asked him.
"It's an open bar." He downed one of the glasses.
"Don't overdo it." You warned.
You went to one of the tables and sat next to Hanji.
"(Y/n)! Isn't this wedding wonderful?" She smiled. You nodded. "Where's shortie?"
"At the bar." You answered. Hanji looked behind you to see the raven haired man down another shot.
"Let him be bitter." The brunette said, waving him off. You were a bit confused.
"Why would he be bitter?" You asked. Hanji almost spit out her drink.
"You don't know?" She gasped. You shook your head. Hanji glanced around and then leaned in closer to you. "Petra and Levi used to... Have a thing. He didn't want to put a label on it. Levi did loved her, but you know how he is. He has a funny way of showing he cares... Anyway, Petra couldn't stand it so they broke it off."
"Really?" You were sort of shocked. Petra was such a cheery person, you couldn't picture her liking Levi or him liking her. She just seemed to peppy for his taste.
"Well... They broke up about three months after you came to the office and they did keep it pretty hidden. Levi didn't want everyone to know there was office romance for the sake of stopping gossip." Hanji explained.
"Hey, just because Levi's miserable, doesn't mean we can't have fun!" Eren smiled. He got up from his seat and gently took one of your hands. "May I have this dance?"
You smiled and nodded.
Eren lead you to the dance floor. It was a slow song. The newly wedded couple were in the middle of the dance floor, swaying in each other's arms. Couples were around them, doing the same thing.
"You look amazing." Eren said. You blushed slightly.
"You look good too."
"Remember our prom?" He asked. "And Armin was too shy to ask anyone so you asked him?"
"Of course." You laughed.
"I was looking at pictures the other day. I can't believe he's got his own software company."
"And Mikasa is almost done medical school, and you're a detective, and I'm a personal assistant for an angry pixie fairy." You smiled. Eren laughed.
"He doesn't look like he's slowing down over there." He said, his eyes focused behind you. You looked over your shoulder to see a fresh line of shots in front of your boss.
"I'll be right back." You excused yourself from the dance and went over to the bar.
"I'm cutting you off." You said, pushing the drinks away. You looked at the guy at the bar. "Can you just give him water?" He nodded and placed a bottle in front of Levi. The raven haired make grunted and crossed his arms.
