"I want blueberries." You whispered, half asleep.
"I'll get some on my way home from work tonight." Levi mumbled. He laid on his stomach, head facing your direction. His eyes were still closed, like yours. You lazily poked his cheek.
"But I want them now..." You whimpered. Levi let out a long, tired sigh.
"It's almost midnight. No store is going to be open for miles." He grumbled. You gave him an annoyed growl.
"Please?" You asked sweetly. Levi had being quiet the sucker for you since you became pregnant. He basically obeyed your every whim with minimal quarrelling.
He sat up in the bed, running hi fingers through his messy raven hair. He looked at you next to him, your eyes still softly closed. You looked so at peace. It brought a happy feeling to Levi, not that he would ever admit it to anyone. He slowly stood up, grabbing one of his jackets from the closet.

Levi walked into the grocery store. The bright lights, the white floor and walls made it almost blinding after walking in from the dark. There was only one worker out, who was sitting at the cash register with a book in his hands. When the automatic doors closed behind Levi, he looks up. A man smiled at him kindly, greeting the tired costumer at the door.
"I'm assuming you are either here for medicine because your kid is sick, or your wife sent you because she's craving something." The man said, putting the book down. Levi raised an eyebrow at him, wondering how many other people had to walk in this store at night for the same reason before the cashier realized the ongoing trend.
"Second one." Levi replied. The man smirked.
"I thought so."
Levi nodded and continued to the back of the store where the fruit was. He grabbed two small cartons of damn blueberries. He walked back up to the checkout, placing the berries on the conveyor belt.
"How many stores did you have to go before you found this one?" The cashier asked.
"Five." Levi sighed. The cashier flashed a sympathetic smile.
"You must have had to travel pretty far." He said. Levi nodded slightly. The cashier packed the berries into a plastic bag and exchanged it for a handful of dollars. Levi stuffed the change back in his pocket and went on his way.

"Thank you so much!" You smiled, taking the bag from Levi and kissing his cheek.
"I'm going to bed..." Levi mumbled, walking back to the bedroom, leaving you to enjoy the small fruit.

When Levi woke up, you were curled up next to him. A small smile appeared on his lips as he took in your gentle features. He brushed away the strands of (h/c) hair from your face with careful movements like he was dusting off a delicate book.
He carefully got out of bed, taking extra caution not to wake you up. He still couldn't help but stare at you. Levi lightly placed his hand on your swollen stomach, feeling a flutter of kicks underneath.
He thought about how wonderful his little family was as he got ready that morning.
