Levi stood in his usual spot on the train platform. He was making his way back from work the same way he had done over a thousand times before.

It was winter. He wore a scarf, that he had pulled put to his nose, and a black coat. He leaned calmly against the wall and stared off towards the train tracks, waiting for the familiar sound of the train barreling towards the platform.

Something walked into his field of view that caught his eye. It was a beautiful red poppy flower in a girl's (h/c) hair. The girl herself was stunningly gorgeous. Her beauty was something Levi had never seen in the train station. It was a beauty that was sort of like the people in the media, but it was a wonderful natural beauty. She seemed miss placed in the crowd of gloomy communities.

She had big (e/c) eyes that pierced right through her glasses and her hair was tucked behind her ears. She seemed very focus on a book in her hands. Levi read the cover and noticed it was sort of a strange book for a girl of her appearance to be reading. It was a manga titled "Attack on Titan".

Levi wanted to go talk to her. He wanted to know the mysterious Poppy Bird's name.

The train called as it pulled towards the platform. The girl closed her book and looked off in the train's direction.

Everyone started to board the plan, Levi and the Poppy Bird being among them. The girl sat down near the door, nose right back into her book. Levi stood nearby her, holding onto the pole. He didn't want to because it was filthy, but it was the only other spot available. It wasn't as bad to be there as it usually would have been because he could see the girl.

He watched her as she bit her lip and read the book. Levi couldn't understand what must have been so interesting about that book.

He looked out the window and say he was nearing his stop. He wanted to stay there until he picked up the courage to talk to the girl, but then his little routine would be ruined.

He did have a bit of an obsessive personality. Many people thought he did have OCD due to some of these habits and it caused a few problems. Growing up, Levi was picked on due to it. It bothered him back then, but in his adult life, he had accepted it. It rarely happened, as he was a respected worker in his field.

"We are now at Walthamstow. Please board off at the doors on the right of the train. We hope you enjoyed your ride." A voice said over the speakers.

The doors slide open and people began pouring out of the doors. It was too crowded for Levi to get through, so he stood there and waiting for it to clear up. When it was opened, he started to walk out when he saw the girl's book still sitting in her seat.

She must have left it. He thought.

He picked up the book and walked out the doors. They closed behind him and the train went off. Levi looked around for the girl. He spotted her walking up the stairs of the train station. He started to follow her, the book held tightly in his hands.

He wanted to just call for her and hand her the book like a normal, confident person, but it was too much pressure. He was an antisocial, dark person and she was a beautiful girl.

He just trailed behind her as he tried to pluck up the courage to talk to her. He thought he saw her look behind at him, so he slowed down and kept his distance.

When they stepped outside, it was dark and flurrying snow. A thin, pretty much transparent blanket, had already collected on the ground.

Levi followed behind her. They slowly made their way towards Levi's street. He was still trying to find a way to speak to the girl. He kept going over lines in his head, trying to think of something that wouldn't be dumb. Trying to find something that wouldn't be crazy or scare the girl off. But time was running out. He was going to have to go home when he got to the street. He had to do it now.

So he did.

He picked up his pace and walked closer and closer to the girl. He could tell by how she walked that she was nervous. Her body looked tense, like she was ready to run at any moment.

He had to do it right in that moment.

Levi gently grabbed her arm, clearing his thoart a bit.

"Miss, you left your book."

Sorry it took me so long to come up with another short. I was really stumped. I hope you enjoyed this one. The song for this is Poppy Bird by Bromhead Jackets. I'll try to update as soon as I can.
