Chapter Thirty Four : The Final Battle

Draco's P.O.V:

when we arrived at Hogwarts, buildings were falling down, everything was destroyed, death eaters were surrounding the place, and people were laying on the ground, dead, Hermione was already crying

'' don't cry '' I put a hand on her shoulders

'' you all know the rules, don't you, we have to kill the snake. now let's split, you go with Malfoy, I will go with Ron, and the twins you go together " Potter ordered

'' actually, I was thinking about something. I have another plan '' I said, everyone now was staring at me

'' what is it? '' Potter asked considerably

'' I could pretend that I'm back with the dark side, and then kill the snake ''

'' no, I won't let you, you can't sacrifice yourself, no '' Hermione said furiously

'' Hermione, please, I want to correct my mistakes, I want to become a good person ''

" you are already a good person, you have saved me, you have helped us a lot, please don't do it '' she was in tears

'' everything will be alright, look at me, I will come back to you, and then I will marry you and we will always be together '' I wiped away her tears: come on, smile '' I smiled to her

'' you .... will ... comeback '' she said desperately

I looked straight into her eyes, and she did the same, we stayed like that for a moment and then I said: I will. I will come back ''

'' alright Malfoy, I agree '' Potter walked toward me and then shook my hand: you're a good person Malfoy ''

'' thank you Potter '' I shook his hand back, then turned to Hermione who was still crying

'' take care of yourself '' I said, and she nodded

'' I love you '' I said as I kissed her forehead then I walked away. I could hear her whispering: I love you, but I refused to look at her because I knew if I had turned I would never let her go.

Hermione was crying hard, she didn't want to lose him, he was everything to her

'' everything will be fine '' Ron put a hand on Hermione's shoulder

'' let's go '' she said as she held Ron's and Harry's hands

Draco sneaked out into Hogwarts, he was afraid to be caught, if someone caught him he would be killed, the plan will fail, so he used a secret passage

he walked inside the castle carefully when suddenly

'' well, well, if it isn't the traitor himself '' he turned to see Bellatrix

'' aunt Bellatrix ''

'' I'm not your aunt '' she screamed '' Stupefy '' she said and Draco felt down

'' I came here to join you, I want to join the dark side, I was spying on Potter, I never joined them " he explained

Bellatrix didn't even care about what he said, she held her wand and shouted: '' Avada ''

'' Bella '' Narcissa yelled: '' I can't believe you wanted to kill my son '' she pushed her away

'' he's a traitor Narcissa '' Bellatrix explained

'' didn't you hear what he said, he never joined Potter, he was spying on them''

'' how can you trust him? ah you're so dumb Narcissa, he's trying to fool us, he doesn't care about anyone except the mud blood, even you '' Bellatrix was yelling, she was furious

'' we can't know without giving him a chance, he's just a boy Bella, please '' Narcissa begged

'' fine, we'll take him to the Dark Lord and he'll know what to do with him ''

'' he won't kill him ??? '' Narcissa's heart was beating fast

'' I don't think so, he may help us, he knows so much about Potter ''

Hermione's P.O.V:

'' Hermione, everything will be fine '' Ron was trying to make me feel better, but I couldn't, I just couldn't think of losing the love of my life

'' the snake, it's here, near to us, I can feel that '' Harry was shaking

'' Harry are you okay? '' I asked worriedly

'' he's here, Voldemort, waiting for us. I see him "

'' what else do you see Harry? '' asked Ron

'' death eaters, they killed Tonks, Lupin, Lavender, and F---Fred '' he fell to the ground

we broke into tears, we lost them, all of them, our friends, they were gone forever

'' Freeed, nooo '' Ron yelled furiously and I put a hand on his arm to comfort him

my heart stopped beating when I heard Harry whispering: '' he wants me to face him, he caught Draco '' '' let's go '' Harry said angrily: I can't let another one die, this is my fight and I'm going to finish it ''

We walked to the courtyards where we found Voldemort and his death eaters, I felt relieved when I saw Mrs. Malfoy holding Draco's hand, I knew she wouldn't let anyone hurt him

'' oh look who's here, Potty and his friends '' Voldemort laughed with his ugly voice

'' nice to see you Tom '' Harry said

'' let go of Draco, he doesn't want to be with you '' I shouted but Draco looked at me seriously as if he wanted me to stop talking

'' see Draco, your girlfriend really loves you '' Voldemort joked

'' let go of him Tom, this battle is just between me and you '' Harry yelled

Draco's P.O.V:

I exchanged serious looks with Hermione, I did not want her to be involved in such a situation , Voldemort could have killed her with no mercy , I remember very well the day she was tortured by Bellatrix , I did not want her to save me , I just wanted her to be safe , I turned my gaze to Potter who was arguing with Voldemort, the snake was near me, it was my chance to kill it and show everyone that I'm the good person, at that moment. I Held my wand with and killed the snake, I could see Voldemort falling to the ground, I ran away, everyone was shouting traitor. But others went clapping and shouting: brave, even Longbottom was impresed

Harry's p.o.v

What Malfoy did was brilliant, it was brave and courageous, Voldemort fell but looked me and shouted: Avada Kadavra, I held my wand and shouted: Expilliarmus, I could hear all my lovers saying: we're here with you

After all this time? '' I whispered ''Always '' they all said at once

I lost my conscious, for a moment I thought I could not open my eyes again but my friend's voices was the reason I open them and when I did, they were all looking at me, smiling: '' we're safe, the battle is over '' said Ron
