Hermione's P.O.V:

The next day, I woke up to find him there, sleeping peacefully. Ugh, such an idiot. How could he do that to me? I was freezing, and instead, he was sleeping happily.

"Hey, wake up!" I screamed, my frustration boiling over.

"What the hell?" he snapped, waking up quickly and angrily.

"I thought I saw something," I lied, trying to cover up my true intentions.

"Something, like what? Your friends coming to get you out of here?" he teased, his anger evident.

"What?!" I exclaimed, feeling upset by his accusation.

"Come on, I know the games you're playing," he said, his tone mocking.

"What? What are you talking about?" I asked, confused.

"You were freezing, I could see you shaking. You woke me up because you couldn't stand to see me sleeping happily. You wanted to ruin it. Am I right?" he teased. "Besides, if you're trying to seduce me to get out of here, let me tell you, you're failing."

"What?" I was about to hit him, my frustration reaching its peak.

Draco's P.O.V:

"What?" she said, her eyes flashing with anger.

"Just admit it," I teased, enjoying getting under her skin.

"Well, look. Yes, I couldn't let you sleep while I'm awake. But don't you ever dare to say that I'm trying to seduce you. I'm not like the stupid girls you used to know. I can punch you, and you know that," she teased back, her defiance evident.

"Try," I teased, challenging her.

Without thinking, Hermione lifted her hand and tried to punch him, but he quickly caught it."Look, you punched me once in third year, but not anymore. Let me tell you, I'm not the Draco Malfoy you used to know," he teased.

"Oh, you mean the coward who worships his father," she teased back.

"Shut your filthy mouth. It's better for you," he said angrily, feeling the frustration building up.

"What if I don't?" she teased again, not backing down.

"You don't know what I'm capable of. You don't want to see, do you?" he teased angrily.

Hermione decided to diffuse the tension. "Um, alright. Well, let's not fight.Aren't you going to bring something for me? To eat?" she asked hungrily.

"I'll see about some food for the Mudbloods like you," Draco said as he got up from his place.

"Do you have any books in your house, so I can read?" she asked gently, trying to lighten the mood.

"I'll see, Mrs. Too Smart," he joked.

"Alright, Mr. Pureblood," she teased back as she tried to take the blanket.

"Don't you dare touch the blanket, or you'll have to wash it later," Draco warned before leaving.

In the silence that followed their exchange, Hermione couldn't shake off the bitterness that had settled within her. The sharpness of Draco's words lingered in the air, leaving a bitter taste in her mouth. As she watched him leave the room, a surge of resentment washed over her. How could he be so callous, so indifferent to her discomfort? The realization only fueled her growing dislike for him, solidifying her conviction that she truly despised him.
