I normally work from ten o'clock to around five, sometimes not quite that long if I'm lucky. Tonight, though, I was told to come in around midnight, versus ten, thank god. That gave me some time to spend with him. And tonight, it didn't take me too long to find him, thankfully.
"Hello, Frank," he hummed, turning to face me. I grinned at him and dipped my head in greeting, looking up a couple seconds after. "What brings you here this fine night?" He asked.
"You," I replied coolly.
"Me? Well, I'm honored, Frankie. But are you sure it's not because of the beautiful moon, or perhaps the stars?" I quickly shook my head.
"I don't really like those things, they don't interest me," I told him. He raised his eyebrows, as if questioning what I had just said.
"And you like me, I interest you? More so than the moon and the stars?" I nodded in confirmation, maybe just a tad bit embarrassed at the fact. Sure I liked him, but I didn't like him.
"You're something worth looking at." Where the fuck did that come from? I didn't want to say that!
"You're flirting with me, yet you don't even know my name, nor if I'm interested in men or not?"
"Well, yeah I suppose so, but why do we need to label people? A wise man once said, 'no need to label people, yet we do'."
"You remembered that?" He wondered, looking rather surprised. I nodded sheepishly and shrugged it off. "Kudos, man. People with a memory like yours are my favorite types of people." I smiled and looked at my watch, the time read 11:38.
"I have to go to work, I'll hopefully see you tomorrow?" He nodded and smiled at me, before turning his gaze to once again land upon the moon.
