I jumped of the train and immediately went to the entrance of the station. Ray was laying on the ground and some smoking girls were standing next to her, laughing at her.
I couldn't see that. This was terrible. I could feel the anger coming up into my body. It kinda felt good tho. I walked fast in their direction and without knowing it, I threw one of the three girls on the ground. The others looked at me with their mouths open.
" Hang in there, Ray " I said to encourage her. She had to stay were she was right now because I felt that I could deal with these bitches.
Sometimes Tomb Raider games aren't useless at all.
One of the other two who were still standing wanted to slap me in the face, but I was faster. I kicked her in her belly and she didn't even try to get up from the ground anymore. The first one did manage to stand up again and she put her hands on my shoulders and tried to smash me against the wall, but instead I put my hands around her neck.
I was totally out of control.
But then the third one started pulling and pushing on me. I pushed the one I had her neck in my hands away and jumped on the third one. Once on the ground I managed to block her arms and I just started slapping her in the face, without stopping.
But then I heard a voice from behind me: " Clara, please stop! " I looked at the direction the voice came from and it was Ray. She was crying.
I looked back again and I saw that the third girl's face was full of blood and so were my fists. I was shocked. This was not what I wanted. This is not me. What did I do?!
I let my anger go. The anger that has been within me all these years finally found its way out.
I got up and went to Ray.
" Clara, what have you done? " she didn't stop crying.
" I - I - I don't know "
There were lots of people standing around us. Lots must have filmed it. Papers would know the truth and so would my parents.
" How could you even do that? "
" I have no idea, Ray, guess I just wanted to protect you "
" You could've protected me in another way too " she said and then suddenly I felt her arms around me. She hugged me and whispered: " but thanks, you did what I was afraid to do. And it was cool to watch tho "
After a couple of seconds I let go.
" We should go to school " I suggested.
" After this? "
" I just want to forget this asap "
" Whatever you want " she said and we went to school together. I kept thinking about what just happened. What the hell did I do. I have never done such things before.
Did I just want to defend a friend? Or was it more?
When I saw Vincent, I ran into his arms and started crying without realising it.
" Clara, what happened? " he asked. You could hear in his voice that he was worried.
" I have done something I regret " I looked straight into his eyes.
" What did you do? "
" Keep in mind that she only wanted to defend me " Ray suddenly said before I told Vincent what actually happened. He was shocked. He was just as shocked as I was.
" How - why? " he took his hands away from my waist.
" Vincent, I don't know what was wrong with me, I lost control "
