Finally arrived I ran to the dressing room and I noticed my teammates were already on the A field. I rushed into the room and changed into our soccer outfit. When I was ready, I ran outside and made my way to the field.

They were still warming up.

I waited for a while until they would say what I had to do. But no one did until the coach came to me: " I'm so sorry, Clara, for how they handle you. I don't think the same way as they do. I still believe in you, but you gotta do your best. I know you have loads of talent. You are one of my better players. Prove it today. Make us champion "

" Thanks, coach "

" Please, call me Jules " he winked. He went to the other players and said: " can someone explain the warming up to Clara please "

They all looked at me now. I could feel their eyes burning on my skin.

Was it a good idea to even come here?

" I will " it was Jayden.

" Thanks, Jayden " the coach tapped his shoulder while Jayden came in my direction.

" Hi Jayden " I said, being shy.

" Let me explain... "

After the warming up we got back into the dressing room and the coach encouraged us. He told us the points we had to pay attention on and how the visitors play. Full of encouragement we left the dressing room.

In 2 rows of 2 different teams we entered the field. Just like professionals. The audience sang our teamsongs and we were ready to win. I looked around to see if anyone I know was here.

Not my parents, they were gone for the weekend.

I saw Hervé.

When our eyes met he waved at me and I smiled in return. Then the referee blew his whistle.

Let's fucking do this.

I was going to do the best I could to win the confiance back from my teammates. Maybe they would talk to me again then. But they had to give me a chance first.

Our team was better then the visitors for the first half. But we didn't get any chances. We controlled the whole thing, but no one got to the goal. And why not? Because I am in attacking position and they didn't want to pass to me.

" PASS TO CLARA " our coach had screamed a few times. But my teammates acted like they didn't hear it.

I sighed deeply. I had been running all over the field to take all the chances I get, but I didn't get any.

I had a plan. I would just take the ball from my own team and make my way to that goal.

Just do it, Clara, it's going to make YOU feel better and your teammates will start giving you chances.

Okay. Let's do this.

Dylan was the one with possesion. I ran to him, took the ball away from his feet with mine and started running to the goal. The first thing I noticed was that Dylan kept standing on the place where I took the ball, instead of running to the goal so I could pass and he could score.
