7th of July, 9:46 am.
When I realised what day it was and what would happen today I jumped up from my bed and shouted: " WE'RE GOING TO RHODES!!! "
Ray woke up by hearing me scream. She looked confused. Until she looked at me: " Ughhhh " she sighed and let her head fall onto her pillow again. I just laughed.
" Hmmm " she groaned loudly.
" We're leaving for Rhodes todaaaaay " I sang.
I was really happy we were about to go back. The sun is always shining there, the food is delicious, the island is wonderful, the people are amazing, the hotel people are like family and I was kinda excited for the animation team, which is every year a new team of new people.
Just everything is better there than here.
And Ray was going with us!
My mum slowly opened the door of my room and I did a sign she had to be quiet because Ray was still sleeping. She smiled and did a little dance. My mum was so happy she could go back to the island she loved most again.
It's our favorite time of the year.
Around 10am I finally got out of my bed. The first thing I noticed were the suitcases of me and Ray. But I still had to get my handluggage ready.
I stretched my arms and got into the bathroom. I took a shower, put on a pair of jeans shorts and a white DYJCode Tshirt. I brushed my short hair and put on a bit of make-up and polished my nails in black.
I looked at myself in the mirror. I smiled.
I was ready.
I got out of the bathroom again and Ray was still laying in her bed. She was busy scrolling on her phone.
" Ray, you should get ready, we're leaving in an hour "
Our plane leaves around 4pm but my mum loves being in the airport so she wanted to be there early.
" Yes, one more minute " she said.
" Okay " I said and I started charging my phone and my Ipad. I wanted to take them with me. Then I got my handluggage ready and went downstairs for breakfast.
" Goodmorning! " my dad said, pouring the coffee in our cups.
" Mornin' " I said back and went to sit down.
After a while Ray got downstairs too. You could see she had taken a shower because her hair was still wet. She was wearing black shorts and an ACDC T-shirt.
" Hey, sleepy head " my mum said.
" Hellooo " Ray sang and got to sit down.

Around 11:30am we left with a taxi. The car was quite big. The driver helped us and put pur suitcases in the trunk of the car. There were already two guys in the car. They seemed pretty young. Me and Ray smiled to each other and got in the car.
I posted something on my Snapchat and most of the time we looked out of the window.
I heard the guys behind us talking. Talking about us. They were discussing about who was the most beautiful girl of us. And with us I mean, me and Ray.
