The next sunday it was Ray's birthday AND the last match of the season for RSCA. RSCA has been winning some games and losing some last weeks, but they didn't play good as usual. If they win today they would be the champion of Belgium. If they lose, their rival, the most hated team of Belgium, would become champion.
I turned around and saw Ray was still sleeping. I got up as quiet as I could and started to decorate the room with flags and balloons. And I put presents all around her bed.
It was past 10pm so I decided to wake her up with some great music:
Ooh, yeah!
I did my time and I want out
So effusive - fade - it doesn't cut
The soul is not so vibrant
The reckoning, the sickening
Packaging subversion
Pseudo sacrosanct perversion
Go drill your deserts, go dig your graves
Then fill your mouth with all the money you will save
Sinking in, getting smaller again
I'm done! It has begun! I'm not the only one!
And the rain will kill us all...
We throw ourselves against the wall
But no one else can see
The preservation of the martyr in me
Psychosocial!
" Oh my god, Clara, what a nice song to wake up with " she stretched her arms.
" HAPPY BIRTHDAY RAAAAY!!! " I shouted, pulled her out of her bed and hugged her tighly.
" Wow, thank you " she laughed.
" Aaaaand look at your beautiful bed " I did some weird moves around her bed.
" PRESENTS " she shouted.
" Yes, you don't have to scream " I laughed.
" I'm sorry " she giggled, took a present and calmly shaked it.
" What if it's breakable? " I asked.
" Then it breaks "
" Open it! "
" Okay, okay " she opened the present.
" OMG IT'S A POWERWOLF T-SHIRT " she shouted, jumped around and hugged me once again.
" Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you "
" No problem, but just stop screaming "
" You're the best "
" No, you are " I smiled. I was glad to see her this happy.
After opening some other presents and having breakfast we had some fun. I was remixing some metal songs with my dj set and she danced and sang along.
Around 12 am someone knocked on our front door.
" Clara, please open the door " my mum said. I got of the couch and went to the door. I opened it.
Vincent.
Thousands of feelings, thoughts and questions popped up into my head.
