It was the last week before the summer holidays would start and we just had to go to school on Wednesday and Thursday, because Friday was the first of July and then holidays start here in Belgium!
And since me and Ruben had finished our thing, he had been texting me like crazy. He always asked me to come over to his' but hey, I still live at my parents'.
But since Ray was in love with the Steve guy, me and her had found a solution.
That monday of the last week of school, we had a day off and we had told my parents we were going to the park and have some fun together, because the weather was really nice.
But guess what. She went to Steve and I went to Ruben. And we stayed in touch to let each other know when we would go back home, because my parents had to believe we went to the park.
Ding dong.
The door swung open: " Hey! " I guess he was glad to see me. It was kinda awkward because he didn't know what to do, cheek-kiss me, shake hands or just hug me. So it became a combination of all options. We had to laugh.
" Come in " he finally said and I entered his house.
" I'm glad you could come over today " he smiled.
" So am I ", I laughed, " what are we going to do today? "
" The weather is nice sooo we could just sit outside and enjoy the sun " he suggested, pointig to his garden, you could see from out the large window.
" Good for me " I said. We went outside and sat down in the sun. We talked about random stuff and we got to know each other.
At a certain moment we were laying in the grass and we let the sun shine on our skin. It felt great. Summer was here.
We laughed a lot.
" Ugh, Clara, I'm too lazy, wanna get some drinks? "
I laughed, " hey helloooo, I'm the guest here "
" I don't care " he smiled, putting on his sunglasses.
" What drinks? "
" The big bottle of Ice-Tea is in the fridge, glasses are in the cupboard next to it "
" Ice-Tea, really? "
" To start with " he winked. I got inside to get the drinks. But the thing I payed more attention on was a bucket. A bucket filled with water.
I got a plan.
I put the glasses, I already had taken, on the table and took the bucket of water. I quietly got onto the grass and slowly made my way to Ruben.
And I just turned the bucket of water upside down above his body
His reaction was priceless.
He screamed almost like a girl and jumped up immediately. You must've seen his face. I bursted out into a laughter.
" Oh, you think that's funny, hmm " he came closer to me.
