The ceiling is something Camila has been staring at for the past two hours, not moving an inch.

The emotion has been sucked out of her dryly, causing her to lack even the simplest of care such as showering. It wasn't that she was too lazy to get up and shower, but it was the fact that regret and sadness were taking control of her body and she didn't know any other way than to let it consume her and take total control.

For the past three days, Camila has been neglecting to see Gerald, not wanting to spark something else up, yet at the same time not seeing him is causing stress and pain towards not only her but possibly Gerald as well.

Glancing at Lauren, she sighed. The day Camila hurt Lauren, it was a mess. Calling Lauren and asking her to retrieve her wasn't an option, so she made her way back with a bleeding leg and elbow, only to see that Lauren locked herself in the room they shared. Yes, it was mean and it was hurtful but there's nothing she can do about it now because it's in the past and bringing it up will just spark another argument, causing them to possibly even leave each other when they need each others support more than anything.

Swallowing thickly, Camila licked her lips and tried her best to allow words to come out of her mouth. She took a look around the room, only to see it was pitch black besides her lamp that was glowing brightly next to her. She didn't remember staying up to the point it turned pitch black, but then again she didn't really recall much anymore since she was so exfoliated on looking at the ceiling letting her thoughts take control of her entire mind, body, and soul.

"What even was it like touring with Gerald?" Lauren asked before Camila had the chance to push the words out of her mouth.

"Huh?" She was taken aback, especially because after the few days of ignoring Camila, that was the first question Lauren blurted.

"What was it like touring with Gerald, I don't think I can make it any more complicated."

Camila blinked twice, confused at the question she was trying to ask. "Uh, well..touring with Gerald was fun, I didn't do it for very long which makes it harder to, uh, wrap my mind around the whole thing but in all honesty I think it was a real fun experience."

Smiling to herself, Camila began to remember part of the tour. Sure, it was short and seemed fast, but there were some good memories that went along with it and there wasn't a single thing in the world she would trade it in for.

"Think or thought?"

"What are you talking about?"

"Do you think it's fun, or thought as in past tense."

"Lauren, I don't want to do this anymore. Can't we just be civil and talk about things?"

"Alright, fine. I don't appreciate the fact you said you would hate to be me as if I'm some horrible person. I know for a fact I may not be the perfect person, but I sure know how to act my age and who my friends are and what my true emotions are for someone."

"My true emotions for someone? Lauren, I just..I don't know what you're talking about but the whole thing doesn't make sense. I regret what I said and I don't want us to fall apart because of my stupid words. I didn't mean it, okay? I did not mean it in any way harmful or meaningful. I know at times I become angry with you, but I would never mean something like that with all purposeful intent. Okay?"

"Okay. It's all okay. " Lauren said, looking down and clicking on her phone.

It didn't surprise Camila that Lauren decided to go on her phone immediately after an argument, but she was curious to what she was doing. Lauren was a very social person, so it wouldn't surprise her to be texting someone or even tweeting. Maybe she wasn't even on an app, just on her camera roll, but Camila wasn't about to look over her shoulder just to investigate.

While making her way to the freezer, Camila pulled out some ice cream and a spoon, then made her way back into her room. The only thing she could think of doing right now was eating her feelings, and ice cream was calling her name.

The thing with Camila was that she kept things bottled up inside until the very last second; the second she felt as if she was going to explode and lash out violently. At this time, no, she didn't feel the need to become violent, but she did lash out on Lauren.

Closing her eyes, she began to think of what Gerald was doing. As much as she wanted to see him, she couldn't bring herself to come face to face with him. It might be a childish thing to keep being hesitant, but it's the only thing she can think of doing without seeming awkward or too comfortable with the experience. To be quite frank, it almost seemed like Gerald was too quick to defend himself but at this point, Camila was overthinking the littlest things, so the best thing to do at this point was to keep quiet and not assume anything more than she already has.

The sound of a phone dialing disturbed Camila's thoughts and caused her to open her eyes widely. Glancing at the clock on her bedside, she read 3:30 AM. Who does Lauren need to call at this time of day?

"Laure-" She stopped once she heard the ringing stop, and Lauren's voice begin to speak.

Most of Lauren's friends were friends with Camila as well, leading into Camila knowing for a good reason that none of them would be up at three in the morning. None of Lauren's friends really had time to talk on the phone anyway, they were always traveling or in a country where service isn't the most perfect.

"Devon? Hey! It's me, Lauren."
