|Chapter 2| The Ball

We all surveyed the room we just finished decorating. Sebastian took his place at the front door to greet people. "Alright. Now you four serve the guests and help them with anything they need." Sebastian said to us. I took my position next to the food table and everyone else took their positions. Sooner or later a bunch of guests started arriving. It seems the theme for the ball was Red, Blue, and Pink. Considering that's what everyone was wearing. Some were wearing black, but not many. As the ball went on I helped people find food they might like and served some wine as well. Soon the Earl was seen at the top of the stare. "Thank you all for coming to my Birthday party. Please enjoy yourselves." He said. He then traveled down the stairs only to get glomped by Elizabeth. 'They must be best friends.' I thought to myself. Soon some music started playing. It was mainly the violin and some cello being played. Soon everyone was dancing together and having fun, well maybe they were having fun. Elizabeth than ran up to me. "Yes, My lady?" I asked her. "Do you know how to play the piano." She asked. "Well, yes I do! I learned in my free time." I told her. I actually did though, it was to help my mother sleep. Sweet right? Ha, wrong. Times she would get drunk she beat me for no reason. She just would randomly drag me out of my room and beat me. I learned the piano was a way to make her fall asleep. "Oh goody!
