Chapter 37

Jeanette's P.O.V

The next morning I woke up in Soryu's bed by the light entering the room. I turn to the side where Soryu sleeps and I didn't see him there. Then I touch the spot where he sleep and it was cold. I put one of his suit shirts on and walk to the door. I was about to open it but someone flew open the door and hit me in the face. And of course I fall to the floor

Me:"ugh" I say as I touch my forehead

Soryu was already in his suit and he bends down to look at me with a worry look in his face.

Me:"I'm ok, don't worry"

He grabs the hand in where he place the ring and says.

Soryu:"you still have it?"

Me:"of course, you gave it to me"

Then I lifted the shirts sleeve and I show him the bracelet that he gave me in the elevator for my birthday. Soryu haves a smile in his face but then it turns into a worry expression.

Me:"what is it?"

He looks outside the door and back to me.

Soryu:"we have to leave"

Me:"why?"

I stand up in my own and go to his living room. I turn to the kitchen and see smoke coming out. I turn around to face Soryu and say

Me:"what happened?" I say pointing at the fire

Soryu:"I'll explain later"

Me:"....where's the fire-extinguisher?"

Soryu goes somewhere and comes back with a fire extinguisher. He turns off the fire and looks at me.

Me:"so...what happened?"I say laying face up in the couch

Soryu started to blush but it was barely noticeable.

Soryu:"I was going to cook for you"

Me:".....that didn't go well" I say laughing

Soryu walks up to me and gets on top of me. He kissed me and I rap my hands around his neck. He started to unbutton my shirt but I stop him and look him in the eyes.

Me:"Soryu"

Soryu:"I love you" he says while giving me multiple kisses

Me:"I love you too...." I stop in mid sentence

Soryu:"what?"

Me:"...."

Soryu:"hey what is it?"

Me:"I'm hungry"

Soryu stands up and lifts me in his arms. He takes me to his room and sits me in bed.

Soryu:"get dress and we'll go to the store"

Me:"ok"

Soryu:"but your not escaping tonight" he says with a smirk

Me:"...."

I stand up and walk to my closet. I take a shower and put on my clothes (see picture above). Soryu called me in my phone and I answer it.

Me:"what is it?"

Soryu:"I'm in the penthouse lounge not in the suite"

Me:"ok I'll be there in a minute"
